UBS launches Business with Impact white paper
瑞銀財富管理投資總監辦公室日前發布《影響力商業模式:從企業社會責任到企業社會回報》白皮書。
UBS Wealth Management s Chief Investment Office recently launched a white paper entitled Business with Impact: From corporate social responsibility to corporate societal returns.
白皮書指出,如果企業將可持續發展視為既能獲得可觀回報,又可帶來可衡量的社會及環境效益的機會,而不僅僅是管理可持續發展的相關風險,那麼企業有望提高業績,並更好地滿足投資者需求。
The paper concludes that businesses are more likely to perform better and satisfy their investors if they treat sustainability as an opportunity to earn a compelling return and make a measurable social or environmental impact, rather than simply managing sustainability risks.
近年,投資者對於可持續發展以及相關商業機會的熱情顯著升溫。符合「責任投資標準」的資產管理規模從2014年的18.3萬億美元增長到2016年的22.9萬億美元。
Investor interest in sustainability and associated business opportunities has grown significantly in recent years. Assets managed according to responsible investment criteria grew from USD 18.3 trillion in 2014 to USD 22.9 trillion in 2016.
可持續發展舉措日益展現出提升企業盈利並降低風險的作用,也為「影響力商業」模式帶來支持。
Sustainability initiatives are demonstrating an ability to enhance firms bottom lines as well as mitigating risks, supporting a business with impact approach.
「影響力商業」模式很可能將受到千禧一代和女性投資者的青睞,同時也將吸引具有財務影響力的企業利益相關方。
A 「business with impact」 approach is likely to find favor with millennial and female investors and other corporate stakeholders with growing financial influence.
霍尼韋爾發布公務航空展望報告
Honeywell released business jet aviation forecast
霍尼韋爾日前發布的第26 期年度全球公務航空展望報告顯示,由於不明朗的經濟和政治環境以及極具競爭力的二手航空市場影響著公務航空產業,公務航空領域訂單量可能在近期放緩。
The business jet aviation industry is likely facing a modest pace for near-term orders due to an uncertain economic and political environment along with a very competitive used aircraft market, per the 26th annual Global Business Aviation Outlook released recently by Honeywell.
預計從 2017 年至 2027 年,新公務機的交付量將達到 8300 架,總價值2490 億美元,較 2016 年的預測下降 2-3%。
The Global Business Aviation Outlook forecasts up to 8,300 new business jet deliveries worth $249 billion from 2017 to 2027, down 2-3 percentage points from the 2016 10-year forecast.
霍尼韋爾航空航天集團美洲區售後服務總裁彭睿仕表示:「二手飛機價格下跌,大宗商品價格持續走低,外匯和政治不穩定因素帶來的問題仍然存在,並將繼續影響公務機的短期購買計劃,導致2018年交易量增長放緩。但即便如此,幾種新機型公務機的入市,有望在中長期促進新公務機交易量的穩步增長。」
「Declining used aircraft prices, continued low commodities prices, and economic and political uncertainties in many business jet markets remain as near-term concerns for new jet purchases, leading to a modest growth in 2018,」 said Ben Driggs, president, Americas Aftermarket, Honeywell Aerospace. 「That said, there are several new and exciting aircraft models coming to market, which will drive solid growth in new business jet purchases in the midterm and long term.」

The outlook shows the deliveries of approximately 620-640 new jets in 2017, a decline of roughly 30 aircraft year over year. This pullback comes on the heels of a moderate decrease in 2016 and is largely due to slower order rates for mature airplane models and a transition to new models slated for late 2017 and 2018.

Operators plan to make new jet purchases equivalent to about 19 percent of their fleets over the next five years as replacements or additions to their current fleet, a decrease of 8 percentage points compared with the 2016 survey results.

Of the total purchase plans for new business jets, 19 percent are intended to occur by the end of 2018, while 17 percent and 14 percent are scheduled for 2019 and 2020, respectively.

Operators continue to focus on larger-cabin aircraft classes, ranging from the super mid-size through ultralong range, which are expected to account for more than 85 percent of all expenditures on new business jets in the next five years.

Rolls-Royce joins forces with Google to help make autonomous ships a reality
羅爾斯-羅伊斯日前宣布與谷歌簽署協議,進一步開發智能感知系統,用以提升現有船舶的安全性。該系統是實現無人駕駛船舶的關鍵。
Rolls-Royce has signed a deal with Google to develop further its intelligent awareness systems which are making existing vessels safer and are essential to making autonomous ships a reality.
根據協議,羅爾斯-羅伊斯將利用谷歌雲機器學習引擎,進一步訓練其基於人工智慧的分類系統,用於探測、識別和跟蹤船舶在海上可能遇到的各種物體。
The agreement allows Rolls-Royce to use Google』s Cloud Machine Learning Engine to further train the company』s artificial intelligence (AI) based object classification system for detecting, identifying and tracking the objects a vessel can encounter at sea.
羅爾斯-羅伊斯船舶智能高級副總裁Karno Tenovuo表示:「智能感知系統不僅有助於為無人駕駛船舶的未來創造條件,還能為海事企業立即帶來效益,提升船舶和船員的作業安全和效率。通過與谷歌雲合作,我們可以讓這些系統變得更快更好,保障安全。」
Karno Tenovuo, Rolls-Royce, SVP Ship Intelligence said: 「While intelligent awareness systems will help to facilitate an autonomous future, they can benefit maritime businesses right now making vessels and their crews safer and more efficient. By working with Google Cloud we can make these systems better faster, saving lives.」
阿聯酋航空與迪拜航空宣布首批共享代碼航線
Emirates and flydubai partnership announces first codeshare routes
繼阿聯酋航空和迪拜航宣布合作夥伴關係後,雙方近期正式宣布,阿聯酋航空將延伸其航線網路至迪拜航空橫跨三大洲的29個目的地。
Following the commencement of their partnership, Emirates and flydubai recently announced that Emirates will expand its network to 29 flydubai destinations across three continents.
這一全新的合作網路,通過代碼共享,將為中國及其他各國乘客提供更多班次選擇和更便捷高效的服務,前往更廣闊的全球目的地。
The new partner network, through its codeshare, will offer greater frequency and easier access to more global destinations with the advantage of connecting baggage to the final destination for both Chinese and international travelers.
阿聯酋航空公司及集團主席兼首席執行官暨迪拜航空公司主席謝赫·阿姆德·本·薩伊德·阿爾馬克托姆表示:「代碼共享是雙方合作夥伴關係正式啟動的第一步,這將為乘客帶來更多益處。乘客將有機會享受到兩家航空公司的獨特優勢,以及從迪拜中轉的更多選擇和靈活性。」

Throughout the customer journey Emirates and flydubai will deliver a product experience reflective of their unique brand characteristics.
