《英倫對決》：成龍近幾年來質量最好的電影，沒有之一
The Foreigner is adapted from Stephen Lyser』s 「The Chinaman」. In this movie, 「Chinaman」 creates a lot of chaos. As a result, the phrase 「Chinaman,」 has derogatory connotations. Chenglong has the leading role in this movie. Another starring actor is the 5th Bond Pierce Brosnan, who is acting as former member of the UDI and Ireland official member Liam.
《英倫對決》（The Foreigner）改編自史蒂芬·萊瑟於1992年出版的小說《中國佬》（The Chinaman）。在這部電影的語境中，Chinaman被賦予了貶義的色彩，因為這個角色給其他人捅了蠻多簍子，所以稱其Chinaman來發泄。該片由成龍領銜主演，而另一個備受期待的主演正是第五任「邦德」，皮爾斯·布魯斯南。他在片中所扮演的角色是一位前UDI成員的北愛爾蘭高官Liam。
The story shows how the UID (terrorist) started a bomb attack which killed Guan (ChengLong)』s daughter. Guan knows about some insider, so he finds Liam (the former member of the UDI) to ask for help, but because he ventures inside, he gets into trouble. Then, because of his grief and indignation, the former Special Forces member starts his revenge.
電影的故事背景是英倫的極端恐怖組織UDI發動了一次炸彈襲擊，關（成龍飾）的女兒在這場事故中喪生。關深知官場的黑暗和套路，於是去找前UDI成員Liam詢問線索，可是關卻在討公道的過程中四處碰壁，最後這個悲憤不已的前特種兵展開了一系列的復仇計劃。
在看這部電影之前，首先要了解英國和北愛爾蘭的關係和歷史。雖然當年英國承認了愛爾蘭獨立，但是北愛爾蘭卻是繼續留在英國。一些嚮往和平的人覺得並無大礙，但是這讓一些極端分子感到不公與憤怒。出於心中的怒火，他們便開始進行恐怖襲擊。
Before you watch this movie, it』s advisable to understand the relationship between Britain and Northern Ireland. Although the British acknowledges the Irish independence, Northern Ireland still has to remain as part of the UK. For people who yearn for peace that is okay, but it was viewed as injustice and met with anger from some extremists.
在電影中，恐怖分子加高官是非常經典的政治驚悚片套路。
In the movie, the inclusion of terrorists and an office are a classic political thriller setup.
This, indeed is best Chenglong』s movie I』ve ever watched in years. This movie is no longer an action comedy movie.
我之所以會說這部電影是成龍近幾年來質量最好的的原因之一，就是他大膽地拋棄了自己原來的功夫喜劇路線，在整部影片中開始展
It changes to be serious and induces pathos in the audience. The movie aptly captures the character』s pain, and other psychological activity without any physical fighting. The character』s makeup makes me remember 「Wolverine-3」. Hugh Jackman arouses similar feelings as ChenLong. Chan also will feel the heroes』 twilight.
現角色的悲情和嚴肅，化妝之後成龍看起來更是有滄桑感，同時加入許多的文戲來展現自己的演技，例如影片中許多的面部特寫將人物內心的痛苦通過外在的形式表現出來。龍叔這樣的妝容不禁會讓人想起今年三月份上映的《金剛狼3》， 休·傑克曼也是以蒼老的妝容來展現人物的凄涼與孤獨，成龍這次多少也會有一點英雄遲暮的感覺。
成龍這次不但向觀眾展示了自己的演技，而且還拋棄了其原本雜耍式打鬥的戲劇性，變成了乾脆利落的搏鬥技擊，與以往成龍的電影大不相同。政治驚悚片加上冷峻的動作復仇戲碼，整部影片的內容也就變得豐富起來了。
ChengLong changes a lot in this movie; his fight is no longer like a classic Chinese fight, but becomes crisp wrestling boxing. And with the cold revenge plot, the story becomes rich.
相比成龍近幾年的作品，《英倫對決》更能展現創作人員和劇組成員的誠意。影片不但營造了不錯的壓抑的氛圍，影片節奏也掌握得很好。依靠視覺衝擊、錯綜的剪輯手法與動作戲來營造和製造壓抑的氛圍以及驚悚效果，影片質量也可以說是極高。

Compared to Chan s works in recent years, the foreigner shows the team』s efforts. They created depressive and appropriate rhythm for the film which relies on the virtual impact, complex film-editing, action, deep atmosphere and scary impact. And that pitches the movie at a higher level.
