內容簡介
《If the Moon Could Talk》（如果月亮會說話），一本非常適合中秋共讀的晚安繪本。
故事不停在安靜的卧室和以月亮為視角的兩者中切換，小朋友遁入夢鄉，在夢境中通過形狀簡單、顏色明艷的圖畫和押韻的句子，把兩個不同的世界和諧地融合在一起。
晚上，玩具和動物已歸回原位。在房子里，有個小孩準備睡覺，爸爸讀著故事，媽媽來說晚安，等待著小孩的是夢境。如果月亮會說話，它會和孩子聊些什麼呢？

"Somewhere a pair of shoes lies under a chair."
"A window yawns open."
" Twilight blazes a trall across the wall."
某個地方，椅子下面有一雙鞋。
窗戶像打著哈欠一樣慢慢被打開。
夜色循著牆壁彌散開來。
"And if the moon could talk，
it would tell of evening
stealing through the woods
and a lizard scurrying home to supper"
如果月亮會說話，它會說夜晚偷偷溜進叢林，一隻蜥蜴匆匆忙忙回家吃晚餐。
"Someone hums quietly. A clock ticks. A light flicks on."
有人輕輕哼唱。鬧鐘滴答作響。電燈打開滿室光亮。
"And if the moon could talk,
it would tell of stars flaring up one by one
and a small fire burning by a tree.
如果月亮會說話
它會說星星一個接一個被點亮
樹邊燃起一小叢篝火
"Papa opens a book and turns the pages."
"A story unfolds like a banner wandering across the sky."
爸爸展開一本書，一頁頁翻開
故事像橫幅一樣展現開來。
"And if the moon could talk
it would tell of sand blowing across the desert.
and nomads crouching by the dune."
如果月亮會說話
它會說沙子撫過沙漠，牧民蹲在沙丘邊。
"On a small table sits a glass, a wooden boat, a starfish, too."
一張小桌子，上面一個玻璃杯
一艘木船啊，還有一個小海星
"And if the moon could talk,
it would tell of waves washing onto the beach,
shells, and a crab resting."
如果月亮會說話
它會說浪拍著沙灘
貝殼和蟹住在上面
"Music chimes from a small box on a shelf. A mobile stirs the air."
"On a chair, a rabbit sits listening"
架子上一個小盒子里， 音樂聲傳出。鈴聲在空氣中旋轉。
椅子上，一隻小兔坐在椅子上聽著
"And if the moon could talk,
it would tell of the wind rocking a tree
and a bird safe in its nest."

小鳥安全地住在巢里。
"Mama hands her child the rabbit."
"She hugs her and pulls the blankets tight under her chain.
媽媽將小兔遞給寶寶
擁抱她，把毯子拉到寶寶的下巴邊，以防著涼。
"And if the moon could talk,
it would tell of a faraway den
and a lion licking the cubs."
如果月亮會說話
它會說在遙遠的窩裡
一隻獅子在舔著它的寶寶們
"Eyes close. There is a drowsy hush."
"Darkness swells into a colorful dream."
眼睛閉上，令人昏昏欲睡的安靜
黑暗變成彩色的夢。
"And if the moon could talk,
it would tell of a child
curled up in bed wrapped in sleep."
如果月亮會說話
它會說寶寶蜷縮在床上，被睡意包圍
