Think about Wes Matthews at the beginning of the year. Not saying Parsons will turn out the same way, but everyone was shitting on Matthews as the worst contract in the NBA.

Now hes a solid starter with decent shooting and great defense. Hopefully Parsons can live up to that contract, but I dont see it happening on contribution vs $$. He should get better though, give it time.

He"s looked better the last couple of games. He"s still on a minutes restriction but I think when he"s back to full health he"ll slot in well.

Yeah, his production has been shitty. But he"s been on a major minutes restriction that"s kept him from getting into a groove in any game he"s played this season. His main role at this point is to condition himself and gel with the starters, which admittedly is taking longer than we"d have hoped. But he has flashed the ability to create and facilitate offensively, so I"m hopeful that by the time he takes time away from Vince Carter, he"ll begin to live up to his paycheck.
