逄小威《冬天裡的北海道》攝影作品展於3月26日在位於北極閣三條北京視覺經典美術館開幕，此次展覽共展出60幅逄小威於北海道創作的黑白攝影作品。

逄小威說：「我的身體不是用來享受的，而是拿來使用的。我想，只要我尚有能力，我就會拍攝。我相信人生的價值在於創造。我很享受攝影為我帶來的快樂，能夠把心中的每個想法都付諸實行，把思想、審美上的理念變成一張張作品，我是幸福的！」正是這種拍攝過程中的幸福感，讓逄小威的作品看起來如此安靜祥和，他用苦行僧似的堅持和努力要求自己，卻將視覺和心靈的雙重享受奉獻給了觀眾，給了大家。

期待著去北海道拍攝已經太久了！

冬天裡的北海道，山是白的、海是白的、樹水是白的、房厘是白的、城市是白的、漫天一片皆白，好純凈啊！

這可能就是我喜歡的，這應該就是我期待的！

純凈、自然、筒潔、樸素，多年來創作孜孜以求的不正是這樣的感受嗎？

我喜歡自然，喜歡一切以自然為師。除去矯揉造作，除去扭捏作態，讓一切都那麼簡潔，那麼真摯、那麼樸素，而同時又那麼具有品質。

拍人像時是這麼想的，拍建築時是這麼想的，拍風光時我也依然是這麼想的。

刪繁就簡，這可能不僅僅是我創作上的下意識，而已經自覺不覺地希望過這樣的生活。其實生活中我們需要的並不多。北海道,風雪中，在山上拍攝,大風襲來人站立不往,攝影包須用身體壓往才不至被吹跑。雪深處，一腳踩下去，大半個身子陷入雪中。清晨出發，日落收工，一天不吃不喝，但感覺充實而快樂！

希望這個展覽能夠好看，能夠讓您看到一個自然、純樸、真實、美麗的北海道！昨天，北海道的氣溫開始回升，路上的積雪開胎融化，我們提著一袋重重的已經拍完的膠片,踏上了回國的路程。從飛機的舷窗向下望去，大地、森林、湖面、牧場還是那樣潔白。

但是，應該很快了，北國之春就要來臨了！

I have been looking forward to shooting in Hokkaido for a long time.

Hokkaido in winter is really pure as it is white everywhere. The mountains, sea, trees, houses and cities are all white.

Perhaps this is what I like, and this should be what I have been expecting.

Being pure, natural, concise and simple is exactly the feeling I have pursued in my works for so many years.

I love nature and regard it as the teacher of everything. Without affectation and posturing, everything becomes so concise, sincere and simple, and shows its character. I always think in this way whenever I am shooting portraits, buildings or sceneries.

To simplify complicated elements may be not just my subconsciousness in my creation. Unconsciously, I wish to live in this way. As a matter of fact, we do not need that much in our life.

In Hokkaido, I shot on the mountains in wind and snow. The wind was so strong that I could hardly stand steadily and I had to hold my camera bag down with my body to prevent it from being blown away. In some places where the snow was quite deep, more than half of my body would be caught in the snow when I stepped on it, I set out in the morning and stopped work at sunset. Though I did not eat or drink for the whole day, I felt full of joy.

I hope that you can enjoy this photography exhibition and see a natural, simple, true and beautiful Hokkaido. Yesterday, the temperature in Hokkaido began to rise and the snow accumulating on the road began to melt. Carrying a heavy bag of films we shot, we set off to go home. Looking down from the porthole of the airplane, we saw that the ground, forest, lake and pasture remained purely white.

Yet, soon, the spring of Hokkaido is approaching.
