當今時代，科技發展突飛猛進，信息交流日益迅捷，文明進步有目共睹。然而，環境惡化、貧富懸殊、衝突戰亂等問題也在困擾著人類。

In the present era, the science and technology enjoy rapid advance; information exchange is increasingly fast and civilization progress is obvious to all. However, human beings are still bothered by issues like environmental degradation, wealth gap and conflict and wars.

從傳統中汲取智慧，乃返本開新之途。時值丁酉初夏，四海之雲朋霞友，五洲之高道大德，共聚武當仙山，闡道德之真諦，覓濟世之良方。

Acquiringwisdom from the tradition is a way of returning to the primitive innovation.Today we meet in the summer of 2017 at Wudang Mountains with distinguished guests and friends from all over the world, discussing Taoism and morality, aswell as ways to benefit mankind.

道通天地，德貫古今，道教先哲在靜觀玄覽中，體悟到：天地與我並生，而萬物與我為一，因而歷來秉持命運共同體的理念，主張共生共榮。但是私慾和偏見會蒙蔽人們的本心，從而導致衝突與不公。故致治之道，始於正心；修之於身，其德乃真。

Dao -the Brick of Nature, De - the Fabric of Civilization. The sages of Taoism have comprehended the great philosophy during their cultivation: the heaven, the earth and I are coexisting in the world, and all the things and I are an organic whole. Therefore, they all long hold the concept of Community of Common Destiny, proposing co-existence and common prosperity. However, selfish desireand prejudice may pull wool over one』s conscience, giving rise to conflicts andinequity. Thus to stabilize an insecure situation, one should first melt his orher emotions into Nature; the true Tao and morality lie in the cultivation ofbody and soul.

為挖掘道教文化精髓，服務當代社會，推動文明交流互鑒，促進世界和平發展，我們倡議：

To explore the quintessence of Taoism culture, serve the modern society, promote culture exchange and peaceful development, we propose:

（一）弘揚隨方設教傳統，加強經典的收集、整理、注釋、翻譯，建構適應時代進步要求的教義思想體系，推動道教思想的現代詮釋與世界傳播。

1.Uphold the tradition to develop Taoism according to the actual situation.Strengthen the efforts to collect, annotate, translate the classics. Buildup-to-date ideological system of doctrine and push forward the modern annotation of Taoism and its global popularization.

（二）弘揚齊同慈愛精神，導人向善，凈化人心，服務社會，利益人群，積极參与公益慈善事業，促進人類社會和諧。

2.Uphold the spirit of equality and tenderness to enlighten individuals to have good virtues, purify individuals』 heart, serve the society, benefit mankind, actively participate inpublic philanthropy and promote a harmonious human society.

（三）弘揚貴生樂生理念，挖掘探索道教養生理論和方法，總結整理道教養生功法和醫藥成就，促進人類身心和諧。

3.Uphold the concept of longevity and physical and mental health. Explore Taoists』 theory and methods of health preservation, summarize curing methods and medical achievements to achieve the heath of mind and body.

（四）弘揚天人合一思想，助天生物，助地養形，保護自然環境，促進生態文明，構築知止知足的可持續發展世界。

4. Uphold the theory that man is an integral part of nature. Mankind shall help tonurture the heaven and the earth, protect physical environment, facilitateecological civilization and build a world of sustainable development.

（五）弘揚有容乃大精神，加強各國各地區道教界人士的聯繫與交流，推動道教與其他宗教之間的對話與合作，增進了解，化解衝突，促進不同文明之間交流互鑒。

5.Uphold the spirit of mutual tolerance and strength the exchanges of Taoists from home and abroad. Promote dialogs and cooperation between Taoism and other religions, enhance mutual understanding, dissolve conflicts and advance theinterchange between different civilizations.

孔德之容，唯道是從。讓我們超越一己之私，不自是、不自矜，循理而動，遵道而行，相信人同此心、心同此理，以誠相待，互敬互愛，凝聚向上向善力量，為人類命運共同體的美好未來而攜手共進。

The form of great virtue depends on Tao. Let』s no longer think of our private ends and abandon self-approbation and self-conceit. Let』s act on the basis of reason and Tao. Let』s believe in theconcept that everybody feels the same, so as to treat each other with allsincerity, respect and love. Let』s gather the strength of good deeds and join hands towards the bright future of the community of common destiny.
