Yeah 10 years ago was a great year compared to the usual lack of success GS was accustomed to back then, but right about now 10 years ago we would have just been bounced by the Jazz.

So of course I enjoy it more right now.

Better in what sense. As a fan what matters to me is entertainment value, in that case it"s much worse as far as having a good/decent game to watch every night/competitive playoff series.

Duncan was 1st team all-nba that year, KG was 3rd team. Duncan also was 4th in MVP voting.

I like 2007 because that is when i first started watching and Nets were good but I admit present day ball is better than 2007 with better teams and maybe players. I liked the parity though because west had 3 legit contenders and east had some competition as well.

10 years ago there was more parity in the playoffs. If that"s your grind then it was better. However there is a better talent level in the league today.

Players are definitely better but I prefer post play personally and there really isn"t any of that left.

Overall talent level it"s much better today.

There was a lot of competition and parity in the West, fantastic to watch. The east was fucking horrific, it looks bad now, it was worse in 06-07.

The finals ended up being a good Spurs team vs 2007 Cavs. Replace this cavs team with that one and I don"t think they make it to the finals. That Spurs team was good, but would get eaten alive by the Warriors.

從整體天賦水平來說的話，現在的NBA確實更強。

但是當時西部的競爭更加激烈，球隊實力也更加平衡，然而東部就非常糟糕了，現在看起來真的非常爛，尤其是06-07賽季，達到了底端。

最終的總決賽在一支很強的馬刺隊與2007年的騎士之間進行。如果把現在這支騎士換成07年的騎士的話，我不認為他們能打進總決賽。07年的馬刺確實很強，但是放現在也會被勇士給生吞了。

10 years ago, the Spurs were trying to get out of a tough 2nd round series against a Mike D"antoni coached team... Those were the days man...

Definitely worse.

Guys are more athletic but the all-around skill has declined, or should I say has been displaced.

Bigs shoot 3s, only a handful look for points out of the post anymore.

Midrange shots are considered inefficient when it is the perfect weapon against a good defender.

Team defense has improved however due to zones.

1on1 defense is probably worse than its ever been.

The talent back then was better from top to bottom.

In 07" you had 4-5 top ten all time players in the league that were still doing work (shaq, Tim,kobe, lebron) to a lesser extent KG/wade/cp/dwight

Now its just LeBron and everyone else.

現在的NBA絕對更糟了。

球員們確實運動能力更強了，但是整體的技術在下降，或者說被取代了。

現在的大個子都在投3分，只有少數的一些還能在低位附近得分。

中距離投籃被認為是低效的，儘管這是面對出色防守者時最完美的武器。

球隊整體防守提高了，但是是由於引入了區域聯防。

1v1的防守也許是歷史上最差的。

過去的NBA天賦自上而下分布得更均勻。

07年的時候，聯盟中還有4-5個歷史前十的球員在打球（沙克，鄧肯，科比，勒布朗），以及地位稍微弱一點點的KG/韋德/保羅/霍華德。

現在的聯盟就是勒布朗自成一檔，然後是其他人。

I like the PG depth of today. They are the most skilled players so it"s fun to watch them play bigger roles across the board than a decade ago. I also miss the big man post game from a decade+ ago. Sometimes the 3 ball happy offenses of today can feel a little redundant and, when they"re not going in, can look pretty bad. But they can also look pretty awesome when a team like GS goes on a 20-0 run in 3 minutes. I miss hand checking ( might"ve been gone even longer than a decade) . It would be interesting to see how the Currys, Westbrook, Irvings of the game would fare. I think they"d still be studs, but could Curry have a season like last year with the hand check? Just some thoughts.

我喜歡現在聯盟里PG位置上的深度，他們是技術最好的球員，所以看到他們在場上得到了比過去10年更大的角色很有意思。但是我也很懷戀十多年前聯盟中大個子的低位單打，有時候現在的歡樂3分球進攻感覺有些過剩了，而且當那些三分沒能投進時，場面看起來會有些糟糕。但是這種進攻也能非常具有觀賞性，那就是當勇士這樣的球隊在3分鐘里完成一波20-0的進攻波時。我懷戀能使用handcheck的時代（也許比10年還久遠了）。看到庫里，威少，歐文這些球員在handcheck又能打出什麼樣的表現將非常有趣，我覺得他們仍然會很棒，但是在handcheck下庫里還能打出像上賽季那樣的表現嗎？不過僅僅是一些想法罷了。

TBH most teams now have a star I mean look at Knicks they have like two but still suck ass. I think problem was 10 years ago at least there wasn"t superteams but nowadays there are like two or three stars on the same team.

老實說現在幾乎每支球隊都有至少一個球星，看看尼克斯吧，他們至少有兩個，但是仍然垃圾得不能再垃圾。我認為問題在於，十年前聯盟里至少沒有超級球隊，而現在經常會發生兩到三個超級球星在同一支球隊的情形。

lowry/pg13/derozan/hayward butler are not franchise quality players. Amazing 2nd options but never will head a championship team.

洛瑞/喬治/德羅贊/海沃德/巴特勒可不是基石型的球員，他們是非常棒的二當家，但是永遠無法去領導一支爭冠球隊。
