如何練就一口風趣幽默的口語驚呆雅思考官

這些誤區使得同學們的口語越說越僵

越說越「中式」

所以

今天給同學們講一下

什麼樣的口語才風趣幽默

又有表現力

很多學生都存在的誤區是

喜歡尋求標準化答案

比如我們經常遇到這樣的情況：模考中，學生進門，考官通常都會問：「How are you?」,很多學生只會回答：「Fine, Thank you, and you?」其他都不會說，以致於考官這樣問道：「it』s freezing outside, how are you?」學生的回答依然是：「Fine, Thank you, and you?」。回答並沒錯，卻不是一個令人滿意的答案。

我們的回答可以做到多種多樣：比如: 「Great, Cheers!」，「pretty good」, 「I』m okay!」 , 「could be better, Thanks」, 「Not too bad, Thanks, you?/ yourself?」

同樣，很多學生在表達觀點時缺乏個性化，老是說千篇一律的句子,使考官失去與其交流的興趣。比如被問到諸如Do you like sports? Why do you like swimming? What are the benefits of doing sports? 一類問題時，學生的回答中常有：It can help me keep healthy or keep fit. 而沒有表達出一些真實的自己的觀點。

評分細則中對這點的表達

1. Develops topics fully and appropriately 完全且恰當地展開話題

2.Uses vocabulary with full flexibility and precision in all topics 準確自如地使用辭彙來談論任何話題

3. Uses a full range of structures naturally and appropriately自如得體地使用語法結構

從以上幾條評分標準可以看出：雅思口語考試是不會喜歡學生說一些呆板的Cliché.

如何使答案與眾不同

建議學生結合自己實際情況，找出自己的特色，注意思維的獨特性和立異性，勇於表達自己的個人想法，再運用在更多的主題中。

演示個性化答題法

01擬人答題法

Examiner: Do you think cell phones are important for modern people?

Candidates:Speaking of my little girlfriend---iPhone5, I will have to say,she』s like an angel. I had never seen anyone so beautiful in my life. I was simply hooked on her the first time I saw her. I would always take her along with me wherever I go. My cell phone comes with a digital camera and has turned the vast world into a tiny little village. It』s no exaggeration to say: mobiles phones make the world go around!

解析：這種回答法就是把各種實物擬人化，使其更生動。比如：當談到天氣時，可以把北京的沙塵暴sand storm 說成是魔鬼demon; 把美化城市的鮮花說出是天使等。這樣一來，答案不會顯得枯燥乏味。

02引用諺語答題法

Examiner: How does the news influence people?

Candidates: News influence people only by reporting certain things and leave out parts that could matter. One-sided news or journalism isn』t news but propaganda in my opinion. It』s like that good old saying:Some people would rather believe the lies of Satan than the truth of God.

解析：恰當使用諺語可以使我們的語言風趣活潑，增強答案的表現力。諺語還可用來作為說理的根據，表達某種思想觀點，起到畫龍點睛的作用。考試應從平時一點一滴地去積累英語中常見的諺語，豐富自己的答案。

比如：

A friend in need is a friend indeed.

A swallow does not make the summer.

Action speaks louder than words.

All that glitters is not gold.

03逆向答題法

Examiner: Do you like flowers?

Candidates: Not at all. I』m a little strange. They remind me of funerals. I like grass.

Candidates: Well, I am not too fond of flowers. But sometimes I do like sending people flowers as a gift on some special occasions, Em….mother』s day, for example.

解析：逆向答題法就是跳出常規，反向而行，換一種眼光、和角度看待問題。擺脫大多數人的思維模式去回答問題，達到出奇制勝，與眾不同的效果。

04細節答題法

Examiner: After you graduate, what effect do you think you will have on society?

Candidates: well, it』s a tough question. Let me see. I think I can make an impact in our local community by helping those people around us when we can. May not go down in history, but we may gain a place in someone』s heart. That』s all I can figure out now.

解析：這種答題法也可叫做：以小見大答題法。我們在口語中容易犯一個錯誤：就是很多人喜歡說很深刻的大道理，卻不能表達清楚。其實我們完全可以舉一些小例子來說明自己的觀點。好處是我們可以很輕鬆地將「小我」的生活體驗和經驗與時代精神連接起來，以四兩撥千斤的方式把問題簡單化，同時也更真實，表達了個性化的情感。以小見大！

05迂迴答題法

Examiner: Do you like your university?

Candidates: well, it』s ok. I don』t like things that academic and theoretical, but there』s great campus life.

解析：迂迴思維就是旁敲側擊，避免正面回答不好回答的問題。記住以不同的角度回答問題也是可以起到很好的效果。

06幽默答題法

Examiner: if you had the opportunity to learn a musical instrument, what instrument would you learn?

Candidates: No, nothing. I am very unmusical! I can』t even sing in tune. Also, instrument』s always pretty expensive. If you are really into music, just whistling will do.

解析：口語考試中，回答時如能用上適當的幽默，不但能使答案增色，還能使氛圍輕鬆下來。充分發揮想像力來回答更加生動有趣。

總結

口語回答的方法遠不止以上的6種，在此不一一列舉。希望通過以上的例子，使老師和學生明白一點：口語考試中，觀點無所謂對錯，答案無所謂對錯，只有個性與平乏之分。若想在口語這項拿到比較高的分數，比如7，一定要做到「個性鮮明」。

Be creative, think outside the box. Have your own thoughts and dare to voice it out! You are special enough to let the examiner like you but you have to express yourself first. Keep asking questions and you』ll find out your own voice. Let』s crack IELTS speaking!
