自駕最美沿海公路之一-NC500（1）

NC500全稱North Coast 500（北海岸500環線），由Inverness起，環整個蘇格蘭高地（不包括天空島），止於Inverness，全長518英里。

North Coast 500 is shortened as NC500. It starts from Inverness and ends in inverness. The loop (excl. Isle of Skye) is about 518 miles.

這趟旅行我們要幹什麼？－ 在寒冷的冬季出發，一路向北，探尋北極光！

What are we gonna do for this trip? - Depart in the cold winter, go to the north, see the northern lights.

[Day 1 - Isle of Skye to Ullapool 藍色路線］

看似很短的路線，開車耗時5個多鍾。當然，沿途風景總是讓人忍不住要停下來。每天都有300多張照片，恨不得紀錄下每一幅畫。

The itinerary above looks like a short distance, but it will take about 5 hours to get Ullapool by driving. Of course, we stopped for the beautiful sceneries many times during the trip. Everyday, I took about 300 photos, just because I really want to memorize every picture .

大雪過後，白色退卻，蘇格蘭恢復了它應有的憂鬱。

After snow melted, Scotland goes back to the rainy day as usual.

途中，我們經過了一個沿海小鎮，叫Plockton。這個人口只有378人左右的小鎮，是休閑度假的好去處。

During the trip, we passed a small town near sea called Plockton. Its population is only about 378, but It s a good place for leisure and holiday.

快看，有鹿！怪不得一路都看到路牌提示車輛慢行，前方有鹿。

Look, Deer! WOW, that s why we could see a sign board stated "be careful of deer".

到達Ullapool已是晚上。沒有計劃的我們把車停在了碼頭邊的一個小酒館旁。

It was dark when we arrived Ullapool. We did not have any plans so we parked the car near by a bistro which closed to a ferry pier.

晚餐/ Dinner

向酒館的人打聽附近是否有住宿的地方。得到的回答是，冬季，住宿要麼滿客，要麼不營業。「你們可以去The Arch Inn試試。」

We asked the people in the bistro where we could stay tonight? They gave us an advice: "The hostels or hotels normally are no vacancy or closed in winter. You can try the Arch Inn."

￡90一晚標間，含早餐

￡90 per night, breakfast incl.

結束了疲憊的一天，第二天早上猛然醒來，8:55！穿起拖鞋就朝餐廳奔去，就為了趕在9:00早餐停止下單之前，讓廚房為我們準備一餐豐盛的早餐。只要下了單，想吃多久就是你的事了。

A tired day passed. In the next day morning, I suddenly woke up and looked at my watch. OMG! It was 8:55am. We need make an order for breakfast before 9:00am, so I ran to the lounge without changing my slippers. Of course, when you made the order, you can enjoy it as long as you wish.

Ullapool是蘇格蘭北部的沿海小鎮，人口約1300人。劉易斯島的斯托諾韋可從這裡渡船前往。

Ullapool is in the north of scotland. It is also a small coastal town. The population is about 1300. You can take a ferry to Stornoway of Lewis and Harris from here.
