資佰:紋在身體上的圖騰
資佰帶我們進入的信仰空間

在西雙版納這片神奇的土地上,少數民族的文身,以其神秘形態留下了令人難忘的美麗。資佰通過十多年的努力並藉助身體的藝術,進入了人類持之以恆的信仰空間。
皮膚是人類自身與外部世界分離的邊界,人類的身體被看作是另外一種特徵的風景,一種肉體的地理學通過書寫和雕刻描繪出一個人的希望和恐懼。身體上的這些標誌還可以是記錄神秘的事件,通過一些具有明顯特徵的圖案確立一些等級,從而以藝術化的方式表達個體在整個群體中的價值。就像人類在地球上留下標誌一樣,我們也將自身的皮膚作為地理學的領域,留下了自我表達的痕迹,而且是人類最為親密的表達空間。甚至,在後現代的社會裡,身體的符號已經作為一種具有特徵的文化樣式被人們重新發現,在雲南這片土地上也同樣演繹出新的傳奇。這些特徵對於當代人的意義還在於認識全球化的壓力、人口過剩的緊迫感以及對個性特徵失落的反思。
He brings us into the space of belief

The skin is the boundary between human beings themselves and the outside world. The human body is seen as the landscape with another characteristics, the physical geography that depicts a person』s hope and fear via writing and tattooing. These tattoos in the body can record mysterious events, and express the value of the individual in the whole group in an artistic way through establishing the levels with patterns with obvious characteristics. Just like human beings leave signs on earth, we regard the skin as a field of geography and humans』 most intimate space of expression, leaving the traces of self-expression. In post-modern society, the body sign even has been refound as a characteristic culture style and deduced a new legend in Yunnan. The significance of these characteristics for contemporary people is to understand the pressure of globalization, the urgent sense of over-population and the reflection on the loss of personality.
