This program will be conducted in English. The movie will be in English with English subtitles.

It』s July, which means school』s out in America— it』s time for carnivals, s』mores, and baseball! Join us at the Beijing American Center for a movie screening of the 「The Sandlot (1993),」 a well-loved American comedy that follows the exploits of a group of 12-year-old baseball players during the summer of 1962. It』s a coming-of-age film that provides a unique and nostalgic depiction of summertime culture in the United States. U.S. Embassy intern James Collard will lead a brief discussion after the movie.

This program is not suitable for children under 16.

You must bring a valid photo ID in order to get into our Center. No large bags will be allowed into the Beijing American Center (BAC) for this event.
