You know I didn"t have one problem at all with Isaiah being traded, until I heard this recruiting argument. Like everything up to there is fine, but you gotta remember that Isaiah took time to go out there and recruit guys like Hayward and Horford. That"s the biggest blow I feel, like he went above and beyond off the court to make your team better, and you treat him like that. I understand it, but it"s as damn ice cold as you"re gonna get.

It should just be used as proof that loyalty is only a one-way street in the NBA, so we shouldn"t be mad at players when they pursue their best interests instead of being loyal at an organization.

Didn"t say it wasn"t a great trade. But don"t pretend the Celtic organization is loyal, cause they not. It"s starts at the top with Ainge.

IT had a long long way to go to get to "loyal legend" status. Like 7 more seasons and a couple championships, or at least finals experiences. Dude basically had one nice season and now everybody wants to kill Ainge for a pretty solid move.

Both of your points are completely rational, but the other side of the coin is: what are we as fans really rooting for then? Just laundry? The GM/coach?

Role players are always expected to be interchangeable, but the more movement we see with star players across the league, I think the league might lose touch with its fanbase.
