8月30日 [2.4.5-6] 在一切事上，人的意志都在神的護理之下

罪人離棄真神，死在罪中，罪作王叫人死。惡人作惡，顯示他們被神離棄。那些被神遺棄的罪人，放縱情慾任意而行，他們仍然在神的護理掌管之下。撒但驅使攪動他們的心行惡。聖經說到: 「有惡魔從主耶和華那裡來攪亂掃羅」(撒下16:14；18:10；19:9)。顯然，這是邪靈來攪擾掃羅，因為經文明說: 「主耶和華的靈離開了掃羅」(撒下16:14)。聖經稱這邪靈是從神那裡來的，因為它在神的掌控之下，必須順從神的旨意和權能，成為神管教刑罰掃羅所使用的工具，它並非自己隨意行作此事。

新約聖經也說: 「照撒但的運動…在那沉淪的人身上，行各樣出於不義的詭詐」，這些不領受愛真理的心之人「信從虛謊」(帖後2:9-12)。任何一件惡事發生，也都在神的護理掌管之下。撒但與惡人行惡，神使用他們所作的這些邪惡，來施行神的公義。而他們則是隨從他們的罪惡本性行惡，無可推諉。所以，神的旨意掌管運行在撒但與一切惡人身上。

即使在與靈命生活看來無直接關係的事上，人的意志也在神的護理掌管之下。例如人的生活言行，遵行或違反社會上的法律風俗習慣。人的意志受驅使而選擇自己認為有利的、拒絕自己認為有害的，這些也都是在神的護理之下。神的護理包含萬事萬物(羅8:28；11:36)，包括掌管人的意志，驅動扭轉人的意志照他所預定的旨意行事。許多事情照表面來看，是人自己在立志行事。但是，我們查考聖經，就會明白神在每一件事上掌管人心，必然相信人的意志在神的掌管之下。是誰叫百姓在埃及人眼前蒙恩，使埃及人願意將金器銀器送給他們呢? (出11:2-3) 埃及人原是厭惡奴役以色列人，不可能出於自己意願如此作。是誰扭轉他們的心? 是神驅使他們，使他們按照神的旨意來行。

雅各深信唯有神才能按照他旨意，支配掌管人心，所以他才會對眾子說: 「但願全能的神使你們在那人面前蒙憐憫」(創43:14)。正如詩篇所說: 「他也使他們在凡擄掠他們的人面前蒙憐恤」(詩106:46)。另一方面，掃羅義怒填膺而出征討罰敵人，聖經說是因為: 神的靈大大感動他；百姓為何跟隨掃羅前去出征，因為神使他們懼怕(撒上11:6)。是誰扭轉押沙龍的心，使他不聽從亞希多弗的計謀而敗亡? (撒下17:14) 是誰驅使羅波安聽從少年人而不聽從老年人的主意? (王上12:10-15) 是誰使兇猛的迦南人聽到以色列民來而聞風喪膽呢? 喇合如何得知神將迦南地賜給以色列人而驚慌害怕? (書2:9-11) 是誰使以色列人在被擄之地心驚膽戰? 是主耶和華，他早在律法書中預言此事(申28:65；利26:36)。
