Man Proposes to Girlfriend in Front of Pope Francis

Three-year-old Noah loves to dress up and there』s only one item he wants to wear - his dress，

三歲的諾亞喜歡打扮自己，他一心想穿上夢想的小裙子，

or to be exact, his Elsa princess dress from the Disney film - Frozen.

更確切地說，是那條迪士尼電影——冰雪奇緣——里艾莎公主身上的裙子。

He is a huge fan.

他喜歡得如痴如醉。

And as the family plan their next trip to Euro Disney,they thought it would be fun for him to take part in their princess for a day experience.

諾亞全家計划去歐洲迪士尼旅遊時，讓諾亞體驗迪士尼公主一日游活動，那一定會很好玩。

Unfortunately the response from Disney was no.

這一想法卻遭到迪士尼的拒絕。

The reason - Noah is a boy and the event was for girls only.

他們給出的原因是，諾亞是男孩子，而該活動只為女孩提供。

I was so angry. I literally couldn』t stop shaking for half an hour afterwards.

我很生氣，我氣到事後半小時仍止不住地顫抖。

It』s just I was just so shocked. I mean, I』m his mother and if I』m okay with him doing it, whoever does need to tell me that he can』t do that. I don』t understand.

我非常震驚。我是諾亞的媽媽，如果我都不反對他這樣做，別人又憑什麼來阻止他這麼做。我搞不懂。

Noah』s family feel he』s being discriminated against on the basis of gender and wonder why Disney would take such a position that stereotypes boys and girls.

諾亞家人認為他受到了性別歧視，並且不理解迪士尼官方為什麼仍用有色眼鏡看待性別。

The way I look at it,if a little girl went to Disney Land, "I wanted to do a pirate experience or a spider-man experience",

我對此事的看法是，如果一個小女孩在迪士尼樂園，說「我想當海盜，我想做蜘蛛俠」，

there would be no way that they would stop a girl from doing that because there would be uproar.

不會有人來阻止她，人們還會為她歡呼。

So why is it different for a boy.

所以，為什麼男孩就要區別對待呢。

Disney say it』s not their policy and is an isolated incident,

迪士尼官方回應稱，這並不是他們的規定，此次是個例，

adding "we sincerely apologized to Hailey and Noah for the distress caused. We』re going to ensure this does not happen again.

並稱「我們真誠地向海莉和諾亞受到的傷害道歉。我們保證此類事件不會再發生。

Of course, both boys and girls are welcome to enjoy the princess for a day experience."

我們歡迎所有人來體驗一日公主游活動，無論性別。」

It seems Noah may still get to dress up at Euro Disney, although he plans to do that anyway whether he』s at a theme park or simply at home.

看來諾亞可以如願在歐洲迪士尼盛裝打扮了，其實不管是在主題公園，或是就在家裡，他都要完成自己的夢想。
