如何喚醒純粹的覺知

Hello, someone asked how is knowing that I am pure awareness going to make me live my life more fulfilled? It s a very ordinary question, often asked, and if not asked, it s probably are becoming aware of it. I d like to see the difference between these two. What is the difference between knowing your pure awareness and being happy and fulfilled. And you ll find that there s no difference between the two, but let s understand what pure awareness is.

哈啰!有人問我,如何知道「我是純粹的覺知」會使我更加滿足的品味我的生活?這是一個非常常見的問題,經常被問到,如果這個問題沒被提出來,可能正是覺知到它的開始。

我想看看這兩者之間的區別。了知你純粹的覺知,與快樂和滿足,這兩者之間有什麼區別?你會發現這兩者之間沒有什麼區別,反而讓我們明白純粹的覺知是怎麼一回事。

Pure awareness simply means being who you are this very moment. There isn t a time when you are not awareness. You are awareness, I am here, sitting here, talking to you. I am aware that I m sitting here talking to you. Awareness is always present. You are a human being, you are being playing the human role, has been repeated many times, but when we hear it, ah, magic happens.

純粹的覺知只是意味著在這非常時刻成為你之所是。當你不處於覺知之中時,並沒有所謂的時間存在。你覺知到,我在這裡,坐在這裡,正在和你說話。

我則覺知到我正坐在這裡和你說話。覺知永遠是臨在的。你是一個人類,你是一個扮演人類這個角色的存在,我已經重複這句話很多次了,但是當我們聽到這句話,啊!不可思議的力量就發生了。

Now, about awareness, there is never a time when you re not aware. Not one time, as a matter of fact, and many studies made by IANDS. IANDS is the International Association of near-death studies.

There are over a million people who have suffered maybe cardiac arrest, maybe cancer, or whatever and passed away from the body, and then they were revived by the new medical practices, by medical science.

This is a great thing the resuscitation period as a matter of fact. Again, I repeat, 10 million people have reported having a light experience. What does it means is this, that pure awareness is a silent mind, it s a happy mind, it s a present mind. In truth you re always here, always here, even when your body drops as if we called it death okay, you re still here. It s just a different environment, but consciousness never dies, and that s the beautiful thing.

現在,關於覺知,在你沒有意識到的時候,不存在所謂的時間。事實上不止一次,IANDS這個機構作了許多研究。IANDS是國際瀕死經驗研究協會。

有超過一百萬人曾遭受過以下的過程,也許是心跳突然終止,也許是癌症,甚至死亡出體,然後在新的醫療技術、醫藥科技之下復甦過來。事實上,復甦期間的經驗是一件美事。

But now let s understand pure awareness. Pure awareness itself when it s pure, you are innocent, you are silent, you are peaceful, you are here, you re fully present, but the moment you focus on something, you create a thought.

Now, if that s something that you focus on remains present, then it becomes a creative thing, a wonderful thing. If however, you focus on it, and it s another thought, it s something that you remember, it s a past, then you are caught in memory. Memory when it lives in the past, it brings emotion, motion of energy. This emotion then becomes negative. Why? Because in truth, you are present. The present is the presence. It is this moment. This is the reality.

現在讓我們了解一下純粹的覺知。純粹的覺知本身,當覺知處於純粹的狀態,你是無辜的,你是靜默的,你是平安的,你就在此地,你是完全的臨在。但是當你關注某事某物的時刻,你就創造了一個想法。

如果那是你專註於保持臨在的某事某物,那麼它將成為一件具有創造性、奇妙的事情。然而,如果你專註於它,同時又有另一個想法,那是你記憶中的某事某物,那是一段過去,那麼你就會被記憶給綁縛住。

記憶處於過去,它帶來情緒和能量的運作,這情緒隨之變得消極。為什麼?因為實際上,你是臨在的。當前就是臨在,就是現在這一刻,這就是實相。

Time itself does not exist, and the one thing we find when we pass away from the body as I have 11 years ago, you will realize that you are this moment forever, because in that realm, in that realm of light, in that realm of the soul, there is no time, and so you re always present. And if you re always present, you re always happy. (laugh…)

時間本身並不存在,而且我們發現一件事,當我們死亡出體,如同我十一年前有過的經驗,你將領會到,你永遠是當下這一刻,因為在那光的領域裡,在那靈魂的領域裡,並沒有所謂的時間,所以你始終都是臨在的。如果你始終是臨在的,你始終都會是快樂的。(笑)

It is the past and bringing it into the future, that causes all the suffering. For example, you remember a past indiscretion, I past deed or maybe you were abused or maybe you were brought up a child abandoned from love. Now you see we re talking about love all the time, because pure awareness is pure being. Pure being means your human being, being, being playing the human role, and I repeat this over, so that it will really get it in our heart.

就是把過去帶進未來,招致了所有的苦難。舉例來說,你記得一個過去的輕率言行、一個過去的行為,或是你曾經受虐,又或者你是在被遺棄、缺愛的童年裡被養育成人。現在你發現我們總是在談論愛,因為純粹的覺知就是純粹的存在。純粹的存在意味著你是人類,你是存在,你是扮演人類這個角色的存在,我又再重複一次這句話,好讓我們真的能夠攝受入心。

And the being is always happy, because that is the very nature of being. When you are not happy, it means that you are identifying with the past. When you identify with the past, you bring it into the future.

For example, something happened to you in the past, not love, abused, cheated, hurt. Whatever, the moment that memory comes, you bring it into the future too, because you begin to create an image of yourself as being that, that is the suffering of mankind. That is the great suffering when we lose the silent mind, and becomes a conditioned mind. In other words, we begin to live from thoughts.

存在永遠是快樂的,因為那是存在的本質。當你不快樂的時候,這意味著你與過去認同了。當你與過去認同,你便把過去帶進未來。例如,過去你發生了某件事,不被愛、受虐、受騙、受傷。

無論如何,在落入記憶的時刻,你同時也把記憶帶進未來,因為你開始創造一個過去那個自己的意象,那便是人類的痛苦。當我們丟失靜默的心靈,並變成一個受制約的心靈,那便是最大的苦楚。換句話說,我們開始依據想法而生活。

Thoughts are only real as long as they are present, that become creative thought. But the moment, a thought is taken from the past, you are in conditioned mind called ego. Now this is the suffering of mankind. And until we learn to be quiet, to enter the meditative state, to really begin to see that we are this moment itself, we will not find respite.

只有於臨在之時,思想才是真實的,那會成為創造性的想法。但忽而一個想法又被過去所攫獲,於是你落入被稱為自我(ego)的被制約的心靈狀態之中。這就是人類的痛苦。直到我們學會安靜下來,進入冥想狀態,真的在當下此刻開始看到我們是誰,我們將不會有片刻稍離。

So, pure being, pure awareness, presence, aliveness, happiness, peace, joy, these all mean the same thing, and what they mean is love. Love is the silent mind, when you re totally here, you re automatically loving. When you re loving someone or something, there is a quietness inside you, there is an aliveness and enthusiasm. See, that is your true nature.

所以,純粹的存在、純粹的覺知、臨在、生氣勃勃、快樂、平安、喜樂,這些都意指同一件事,他們的意思都是愛。愛就是靜默的心靈,當你是全然的處在當下,你會全自動的進入愛之中。當你愛著某人或某事,會有一份靜謐存在於你之內,還有一份活力與熱情。明白嗎?那就是你真正的本質。

In March 23rd to the 25th 2018, I m giving a retreat, a three-day retreat at the Krishnamurti Center, and it is all going to be acquiring a permanent silent mind. Attaining the silent heart which is love really, because all the time everything is love, everything that is good and beautiful and true is love. What we call the light being, the truth is love, and love is not loving something, it is being loved.

在2018年3月23日到3月25日這段期間,我會在克里希那穆提中心舉辦一個為期三日的避世靜心活動,並且在此期間都將獲得持久靜默的心靈。達致靜默的心靈,那是真正的愛,因為自始至終都是愛,一切的美、善、真實都是愛。我們所說的光之存有,事實上就是愛,而愛並非單指愛著某事某物,它是被愛籠罩的存在。

Now I d like to mention something which is very important, and which also will be included in the coming retreat. And the Krishnamurti Center in Victoria BC, in March 23 to 25. And it is this that whenever you feel anxious, you feel afraid, you feel unfocused, you feel agitated, you feel depressed, generally unhappy, in other words, you are not being your true self. So, what that means? Is that you are caught in memory.

現在我想要提某件很重要的事,而這也將會包含在即將到來的避世靜心活動之中(克里希那穆提中心位於加拿大卑詩省的維多利亞市)。每當你感到焦慮、感到害怕、感到無法專心、感到激動、感到鬱悶,或是一般的不開心,換句話說,那個當下你並沒有做你真正的自己。這意味著什麼呢?你是否被過去的記憶給綁架了呢?

So what is to be done when that happens? You take a deep breath, become aware of this movement, become aware that it is any motion from the past. Don t try to get rid of it, but as you allow yourself to see that it is dead past, go like this (finger snaping) about ten times as you are recalling it from the past. Why? Because you see, when you are recording it from the past, you get caught, but if you are conscious of doing this while remembering, it brings you to the present. You see, it triggers this moment, and so, by bringing you this moment, you are engaging awareness also. And as you engage awareness with the memory, awareness is always superior. It is what comes first, it is that which is eternal infinite, and so, it will always be with you. Remember this okay?

那麼,當這種情況發生時該怎麼做呢?你可以做一個深呼吸,對這個呼吸的律動帶著覺知,覺察著一切來自於過去的運作。不要試圖擺脫它,但是當你允許你自己去看那已逝的過去,在你陷入過去的回憶時,可以做這個(彈指)動作大約十次。

為什麼呢?因為當你陷入過去的回憶時,你會被困縛住,但是如果你在這時候記得有意識地做這個彈指的動作,則能夠把你帶回現在。這個彈指的動作觸發了這個時刻,藉由為你帶來這個時刻,你也在與覺知交戰。

當你在與覺知和記憶之間交戰時,覺知總會勝出。覺知是最先到來的,是永恆無限的,也因此,它將永遠和你在一起。請記得這一點,好嗎?

And get into the habit of saying over and over again, 「infinite spirit goes before me, and opens the way, infinite wisdom tells me what to do and what to say.」 Say it before you give a talk, say it before you meet someone, say it before you go to work, say it before you create anything new. In fact, say it every time you get up in the morning and going to bed at night. So, I repeat, say, 「infinite spirit it goes before me and opens the way, infinite wisdom does me what to do and what to say.」 And you are that spirit, and you are infinite.

一次又一次的覆誦這段話,直到成為一種習慣:「無限的心靈在我之前並為我開路,無限的智慧告訴我該怎麼做和怎麼說。」在你說話之前,在你會見某人之前,在你去工作之前,在你創造任何新東西之前,記得先對自己說這一段話。

事實上,在你每一次早晨起床和晚上就寢時,都對自己說這一段話。所以我再次覆述:「無限的心靈在我之前並為我開路,無限的智慧告訴我該怎麼做和怎麼說。」而你就是那個心靈,那個無限!
