Long ago in the deepest reaches of a dark forest, lived a greedy tree. Every day, the sun would rise, the tiny trees, the saplings planted around the greedy tree would ask it, 「(Clearing of the throat)Mister GreedyTree, Mister Greedy Tree could you please share some sunlight with me?」

The tall, huge, greedy tree would look down on the little saplings and he』d say, 「Hohoho, maybe tomorrow I"ll let you have some sunlight, today it』s all for me.」

又高又大的貪婪樹很瞧不起這些小樹苗，他說：「嚯嚯嚯，也許明天吧，今天，陽光全是我的。」

Until one day, a woodcutter came into the forest and saw the great, big, greedy tree and he said, 「I must cut down this tree for it is so large and huge it will make me a lot of money.」

直到有一天，一個伐木工人來到森林裡，看到了這棵巨大的樹。他說：「這樹長得可真大，我要把它砍下來賣了，一定可以賺很多錢。」

CHOP! CHOP! CHOP!

砍！砍！砍！

Down went the greedy tree. The next morning all the saplings had sunlight.

貪婪樹就這麼倒下了。第二天早上，所有的小樹都能享受陽光了。
