Modern fa?ades offer solutions to design problems, ameliorate public resistance to change and remake the structure in a way that is embraced by its residents and community. They are more than the exterior of a building — often telling a story, creating a mood and reflecting artistic direction.

To celebrate the showcase of outstanding future fa?ade projects featured in the 2017 World Architecture Festival, we』ve identified seven trends which reflect the fa?ade of the future.
