V SPOT 性物空間於2017年末在上海長樂路誕生。它融合了紅酒吧，女性形體工作坊空間, 以及展示售賣成人情趣?品的綜合性精品店鋪空間的功能。它的誕生在某種程度上打開了中國女性傳統上對性的避而不談的羞澀之情，並以開放的姿態向上海女性傳達了關於性，性物，以及性認知的相關訊息和傳播。

V SPOT sex toy shop space was born in end of 2017 in Shanghai ChangLe Road. It combines the red wine bar, female body sculpt workshop space, and the function of a comprehensive boutique space to display and selling adult sex goods. Its birth to sort of opens up the shyness that Chinese women have traditionally avoided sex topic. In an open manner, it conveys information and communication about sex, sex product and sexual cognition to Shanghai women.

此次 V SPOT 性物空間業主Ying Wong特邀大犬空間研究社 Greater Dog Spatial Research Lab 的留英創始人胡志紅和辛晉作為本空間的設計主導，以及進行先鋒性的空間實踐。

The owner Ying Wong invited founders of the Greater Dog Spatial Research Lab - Red Hu and Jin Xin as the space designer work into a vanguard space practice at this time.

V SPOT 性物空間設計思考建立於「無邊界」的探討，用於做出設計探索的可能性。在著手設計之前，我們對「性」進行了閱讀研究。從《性史》找到了非常有趣的一個觀點：

V SPOT sex toy shop space design thinking is based on the " No Boundary " discussion to explore design possibilities. Before proceeding with the design , we did a research of " sex " . A very interesting point of view was found from the 《Histoire de la sexualité》 :

「米歇爾·福柯在《性史》中提到：維多利亞時代之前，性不是一個被抑制的話題，不是一個僅限於閨房之談的秘密。回到了維多利亞時代，性突然成了一個帶有禁忌性的話題。傳統的性別研究認為，這是一種對性的壓抑，只有打破這種壓抑，才能實現對性的解放。而米歇爾·福柯說道，並非如此。雖然性成為了一個帶有禁忌性的話題，然而我們對它的談論實際上是越來越多的。我們規訓它，把它當作一個秘密，然而正是通過這種?式，它的存在反而得到了加強。」

In the 《Histoire de la sexualité》, Michel Foucault mentioned that sexuality wasn"t a inhibited topic as well as boudoir secret until the Victorian era. However，sexuality suddenly became a taboo subject in Victorian times. Traditional gender studies believe that this is a kind of repression of sex, which can only sexual liberation be achieved by breaking this repression. Not so, says Michel Foucault. Although sexuality has become a taboo topic, we are actually talking more and more about it. We disciplined it and regarded it as a secret, but its existence was strengthened in this way .

性的固有化概念的顯露，使人們的內新給「性」畫下了一道明顯的界線，人們也因此無法輕鬆地去跨越。然而，偉大的西班牙老藝術家 — 巴勃羅 · 畢加索，他在經歷種種愛情，婚姻，情人以及創作裸體繪畫的過程中，曾說道：「性與藝術是同一件事情 Sex and art are the same thing」。

The appearance of the inherent image of sexuality makes people draw a clear line of "sex", and therefore people can not cross it easily. However, the great Spanish artist, Pablo Picasso, who has been in the midst of love, marriage, lovers, and the creation of nude paintings, once said, 「Sex and Art are the same thing」 - Pablo Picasso

於是，我們試圖尋找藝術化的空間語來來消解言談性的尷尬，促使性轉換為生活中日常的一部分。

Therefore, we try to dispel the embarrassment sexuality topic by artistic space language, and bring it into a part of daily life.

在這次的空間設計中，我們把巴勃羅 · 畢加索的話投向不同身體經過的影子；把安迪 · 沃霍爾的波普香蕉剝開，成為立在三?入口的宣言雕塑；使奧·吉弗的畫作在紅色的通道里篤定站立。並且想像 V SPOT 如同美術館空間，展陳使人觸動，愉悅的物件同時，也是一處包容一切真實情感的場所。

In the case of this design work, we cast the words of Pablo Picasso to the shadow of body who passing by； Peel the Andy Warhol"s pop banana into a 「manifesto sculpture 」; Let the O "keeffe"s painting stand in the red corridor quietly. And Imagine that V Spot is like the gallery space with different art pieces. It is a place where people touched and delight, as well as a place where all true feelings are contained.

或許在某個進入V SPOT 的時刻，人們不再羞澀於此地談論「性」，而是像在美術館看裸體畫一樣自然而然的汲取物件給予的信息。

Perhaps at a time when we enter V SPOT, people will no longer be shy about talking about sex here, but as naturally as we see the naked art piece work and know the information relatively in the art gallery.
