蕭華表示，很感謝各位球員，讓這次全明星如此精彩。和克里斯-保羅及其他球員工會成員會面時，一起討論出了這個方式（全明星改革）並且雙方都點頭同意了，並且不想把原本積極的事情變成消極的事情。

蕭華說，「我們可能過於保守了，因為當我們和球員工會會談結束，將改革告訴球員們時，球員們表示，『我們能搞定，我們是全明星，我們也來一場選秀吧』所以我們可能從明年開始將會直播全明星選秀。」

It was also a bit of politics. He wanted it televised, so he put the pressure back on the players for it not being televised. He knows they"re a group that is going to respond to stuff like that. But once he got what he wanted, he"s cool with being the fall guy because it"s not his job to be the face of the league; quite the opposite - he actively wants to remove the negative pressure he put on the players because they are the face of the league.

That would also replace the starting lineup introductions that are over produced and drawn out.

I think the nba would have trouble with that because of all the merchandise sales that come with pre announced teams. If it"s on the spot you"re losing the couple weeks prior to the ASG where the merchandise is highly sought after

only problem i see with the "right before the game" are the team practices, requests, and coaching gameplans if they want this to be a serious game.

lmao thought i was the only one who noticed this people make jokes but lebron definitely has some power man. He noted originally cp3 and the union but in the middle of obviously unplanned speaking he said he gotta sit with Lebron and the others and I think that means a lot more than we think.

Owners have a lot more pull as a group but individually LeBron is kind of the face of the NBA (right now anyway) and that"s more than any single owner can claim at the moment.
