Ladies and gentlemen, students, good evening!
女士們先生們,同學們,晚上好!
It』s nice to see so many of you yongsters here. I was as young. Long time ago. That reminds me of my own campus life.
Tonight, as a guy who has experienced your life, I』d like to share some lessons and experiences with you.
看到你們這些年輕人真是開心啊.很久以前,我也像你們現在一樣.這讓我想起了我的校園生活.
今晚,我想以一個過來人的身份,來和你們一起分享我的一些經驗和教訓
Campus life was fascinating. You can always learn something from it.
The first thing I learned is :
Don』t be isolated.
Some people will find it hard to be well along with others in daily life. I did.
校園生活是豐富多彩的.我們總能從中學到點東西.
我所學到的第一件事就是:
不要讓自己被孤立.
日常生活中總會有一些人很難跟其他人相處融洽.我就是.
There might be some skills in it, but as for my part, I would think it depends on your attitude. No matter how uneasy you feel, now matter howdesperateit would be, just keep going, try to make youself essential part of your community, at least not far way from themainstream.
與人相處是需要技巧的,在我看來,這其實取決於你的態度.不管你覺得那有多難,
不管它有沒有希望,你只要堅持,試著讓自己成為集體中必不可缺的一份子,至少不要脫離集體.
As loneliness often makes a poet or a good writer, isolation, however, leads to job-losing, friendlessness, mental problems and suicides mostly.
We have to know the difference betweenthe two.
就像孤獨的人容易成為詩人和作家一樣,孤立,則通常導致失業,沒有朋友,精神問題,甚至是自殺.
我們必須分清楚這兩者的區別.
Being lonely means you step into a concept or situation ofpsychologicalstatus that you feel calm,reservedand peaceful where you can think quietly about yourself and things, while isolation means you simply cut off the relations between you and others, and drop you out of your group and away from your fellows.
孤獨是一種心境,使你能在平靜,緘默,安寧的感覺中靜靜的思考.
而孤立則是一種與外界的絕緣,使你脫離群體,失去夥伴.
It』s foolish to keep yourself away from the group. Cause you will lose lots of valuable things you should have got. Asmanyas possible friends, social and communicational skills, and the warmth and affection moments you can never relive.
讓自己脫離群體是再愚蠢不過的了.因為那樣你會失去很多你本可能擁有的東西.比如朋友,社交能力,和一些無法重溫的溫馨的時刻.
Remember，together we talked about the charming girls or boys in the bedroom late at night.
We quarreled with each other, sometimes even fight.
We have a picnic outside the campus, and the barbeque was themostdeliciousfood you have ever had.
We played chess, cards and PC games together.
We are friends, roommates, comrades and everlastingmemoriesfor each other in the rest of our lives.
曾記得,我們一起談那些令人愉悅的女孩或男孩直到到深夜.
我們會爭吵,甚至會動手.
我們一起去郊遊,那讓我們覺得燒烤真是世間美味.
我們一起下棋,打撲克,玩電腦遊戲.
我們是夥伴,是室友,是一路同行,是彼此一生的回憶.
When you recall the days we were together, how can you just forget the moments we were on the basketball court and you might also probably miss the one who broke your nose and had a slam over your head.
What precious life and times we have been through and how poor it is that it takes us such a long time to realize.
當你回想其我們在一起的日子,你怎能忘記我們在籃球場所度過的時光.也許你還惦記著那個打破你鼻子,在你頭頂灌籃的傢伙.我們一起走過了多麼寶貴的年華,然而可悲的是,當我漸漸領悟卻早已物是人非.
Life is too short to be little。
Just precious what you have to hand.
生命短暫,胸懷博大為明鑒.
要珍惜你所擁有的
Right now.
此刻
With the most valuable things, what we should do.
面對最珍貴的東西,我們該做些什麼呢.
That』s just the second thing I learnt, when you are in campus, try to be thankful and learn to believe.
There is always something unexpected in our lives which makes us really dull and burdened, cause things will not go on as exactly as we wish.
那就是我所學到的第二件事情.當你還身在校園的時候,就要學會去感恩和和相信別人.
生活中最會發生些不盡人意的事情令我們煩憂,因為事情不會總順著你我所想的方向發展.
If you want to get more than you already have, just insure that you bear in mind a sense: if you lose it, don』t regard it as the end of the world or as a disaster.
Try to be thankful and calm, you』ll find the solutions.
如果你想得到更多,那就必須給自己這樣的意識:失敗不是世界末日.
試著學會感恩和冷靜,你總會有辦法的.
As a young man, there are things in our life to believe: beauty, kindness and truth.
If you believe in those good things, you will make yourself proud, positive, and always clear-in-mind.
Out of all these qualities, I think you can make your own life.
作為年輕人,這世上有太多東西值得我們去相信:美麗,善良,還有真理.
如果你相信這些美好的事物,你會變得自尊,自信,並時刻保持清醒.
當你擁有了所有這些品質,你就可以著手創造屬於自己的未來.
