Since returning to theMiami Heat,Dwyane Wadehas looked to re-engage with thelocal community and celebrate his longtime legacy in the area that extends farbeyond just the American Airlines Arena court.

OnWednesday, he surprised Stoneman Douglas students at the school"s first day offull classes since the shooting, engaging in discussions around gun violencesolutions and ways in which he could impact both the Miami-area community andhis hometown of Chicago.
