手工真絲地毯的保養和清洗

為確保絲毯歷久常新，我們建議您在日常使用絲毯中注意以下幾點：

1.鋪毯Placing the silk carpet

可以選一塊襯墊鋪在真絲地毯下，這樣能使真絲地毯尤其高密度真絲地毯不易滑動，不僅使腳感更好，延長其壽命，而且還能吸收地面的潮氣。不過襯墊不是非用不可。

When place the silk carpet,you mayput a good quality underlay below it. This will not only prevent the carpet slipping, givingbetter resilience underfoot, andprolong the life of silk carpet. The carpet matalsocan absorb the moisture of the floor.However the underlay is not a must.

2.日常除塵Dirt removal

手工絲毯的透氣性比較好，不易吸灰，一般輕拍或用毛刷輕刷拂掉灰塵即可。如果是使用頻率較高，灰塵較多，可用輕型吸塵器沿著絲毯的順毛方向輕輕吸去塵埃。不要吸邊穗。日常除塵一般一周進行一次即可。

With goodventilating functionandsmoothies,silk carpet is not easy to absorb the dirt. You can pat or brushthe dirty partgently in the direction of thenapto remove dirt and grit once a week.If severe,vacuum the carpetgentlyto removethedirt but not vacuum the fringes.

3.日常局部清洗Partial cleaning

平時盡量避免讓水或其他液體污漬灑在絲毯上面，如不慎打濕，應立即用一塊乾淨的吸水性抹布或毛巾儘可能將液體吸干，然後拿至陰涼通風處晾曬至干。

Do not let the wateror other liquidspread on the carpet. If wettedand stained, use a clean absorbent cloth or kitchen towel to soak up as much of the liquid as possible; take it to the well ventilated place tomake it dry.

如果污漬嚴重，應迅速用毛巾吸釋被污處，然後用布蘸點白醋和溫水擦拭臟處，並把它擦乾、晾乾。若是情況緊急，可滴少量洗髮水清潔，然後用乾淨的毛巾擦乾。

Ifthe stains areserious,wipewith a damp cloth, then use clean warm water with a mildprofessionaldetergentora dash of white vinegar to dab stain with soft cloth.If urgently, a drop of shampoo would also work out.

注意：迅速行動可防止污漬浸透地毯。切忌用有色毛巾或紙巾擦試液體污漬，以防損害地毯的顏色。切忌用力搓擦地毯，以防破壞毯面紋理。清除污漬時從污漬的外圍向中間進行，以防受污區域擴散。

Prompt action may prevent the spilled substance from penetrating the pile of the carpet. Do not use a colored towel ortissue to remove liquid stain. Sometimes the color passes through the towel to your carpet.Never rub too vigorously, or you could damage the texture of the yarn. Always work from the outside of the stain towards the centre, this will help to limit the affected area.

4.整體清洗Overallcleaning

絲毯使用兩到三年，可請專業的地毯清洗商徹底清洗一次。清洗完畢，確定地毯背面晾乾後再鋪上使用。需要注意的是，手工絲毯的清洗頻率沒有絕對的規定，根據使用狀況而定，我們曾有客人，絲毯使用了十七年才拿來第一次清洗。

5.保存Preservation

絲毯應避免浸水和長期潮濕。使用一年後，可拿至陰涼通風處晾一晾，但不要在陽光下直曬。

Avoid damp over a long time.Take the carpet out of the housefor a natural breathe, butnot keepitunderthestraightsunlight.

如果長時間不用，可把真絲地毯依順毛的方向捲起來，用牛皮紙包好，放在通風乾燥處。不要把它長時間放在塑料袋中。

If you want to store your carpet for a long time,roll it against the direction of the nap in brown paper,and store it at a dry place in case of being damped.Do notput the carpet intheplastic bagfor a long time.

可定期（如每年）將真絲地毯的方向調換一下，以使其絨毛受力平衡、色澤均勻。

Depends on the traffic,every one-year please shift the direction of the carpet so as the piles can keep in good conditionand the coloration balanced.
