靠邊站，是一場關於

邊緣群體的展覽。

為了解那些慣受誤解歧視的邊緣社群，中大文化管理碩士課程主任何慶基教授帶領約二十位學生共同策划了靠邊站藝術展覽。

存在的尊嚴

"The Integrity of Being"

識時務跟大隊成為建制主流一份子，一直都被視為成功典範。在文化、社會和經濟上自我選擇或被迫靠邊站的人，則被視為次等、古怪和不正常。社會包容接受多元化和非我類別者的能力，薄弱得驚人。

展覽將於4月18日到22日在賽馬會創意藝術中心L1及L0藝廊舉行，旨在展示邊緣社群的獨特文化和生活，讓參加者重新審視他們的價值。

擁抱 – 活在黑暗中的愛

Embrace-Loving in the Darkness

此次展覽揭示了邊緣化群體被遺忘之狀況: 他們之所以如此，或因經濟狀況，個人歷史，宗教及文化背景差異，或因經濟狀況，個人歷史，宗教及文化背景差異，僅僅因有悖於主流文化。他們不尋求同情，只渴望被承認和被尊重，從而捍衛他們應有而且不容輕視的尊嚴。

The exhibition reveals lives of people who are forgotten because of their economic condition, personal history, religious and cultural background, or simply because of being different. They do not ask for sympathy, only the rights to be recognized and respect for the dignity they deserve as human being.

//1. 佢哋The Unseen Others

透過香港、北京和來自內羅比的藝術工作者的攝影、裝置和詩歌，反映被邊緣化者的心路歷程、掙扎以及在特殊處境中的獨特存在。

Featuring works by artists from Hong Kong, Beijing and Nairobi, this section consists of photographs, installation and poems reflecting the psychology, struggles and the unusual condition of survival of local and overseas individuals who live along the edge of society.

Terenia -The glass between us

無論是在本地或海外穆斯林女性，均常為公眾所誤解和標籤化。本部分由現居香港的穆斯林女性籌劃，希望透過攝影、圖像、工藝及其他藝術形式，逐步解開種種誤解。

Muslim women are among the most commonly stereotyped groups of people, locally and internationally. Through photographs, drawings, crafts and other arts forms, this section is put together by a group of Muslim women hoping to correct the misconception about them.

//3. 無家者．家 Home for Homeless

資深新聞攝影師雷日昇專註拍攝露宿者二十多年，希望透過攝影引起社會對這群被遺忘者的關注。在這新一批照片，他為露宿者的狀況提供另一觀看角度。

Featured are 12 new works by photo-journalist LEI Jih-sheng, who has been taking photos of the homeless for more than two decades with the intention to draw public attention to these forgotten people. In this new series of works, he takes on a different perspective, giving a new understanding of the homeless.

//4. 擁抱—活在黑暗中的愛

Embrace – Loving in the Darkness

新加坡藝術工作者余建順專程來港製作裝置作品，展示不同性取者的親密愛情，往往因為社會和文化上的誤解和歧視，被迫隱藏於黑暗一角。

Singapore artist Ernest Seah creates an installation revealing the secret love of people with different sexual orientation that are sadly hidden in the dark as a result of social and cultural discrimination and misunderstanding.

"SPLASH - 與墨同樂工作坊

也歡迎大家前來參與。

今天，我們很多人都仍在努力探索個人身份認同。藝術家Ernest SEAH將帶領我們走向尋找身份的旅程，再實驗種種水墨技法，創作屬於自己的獨特作品。

Today, many of us are struggling to find out who we are as individuals. Artist Ernest SEAH will lead us to a journey in search of identity, and create a unique kind of art piece using Chinese ink with different creative techniques.

This workshop SPLASH is to let them discover the wonderful ways ink can create different shapes, lines and smudges but controlling the water and also have fun with brush strokes to create a picture.

Ernest SEAH 從事藝術與設計已有二十多年經驗。他從十六歲開始擔任化妝師和高級時裝設計師，現於新加坡南洋藝術學院主修中國水墨。其作品剛在德國柏林展示，目前在美國棕櫚泉舉辦另一場展覽。Ernest希望將更多有趣，調皮的作品帶入商業舞台，讓更多人體驗和享受。

Ernest Seah has been in the Arts and Design field for over 20 years. Starting out as a makeup artist and a couture clothing designer at 16, he now majoring at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Chinese ink. His works has been showing in Berlin Germany and Palm Springs USA respectively. Ernest hope to bring more of his intriguing, fun and sometimes naughty works to the commercial arena for more to experience and enjoy.

此次展覽也包括兩部電影的放映，其主題皆聚焦於邊緣社群 : 一部關於露宿者，另一部關於清潔女工 – 陳太。此外，展覽期間還會舉辦一系列的定期活動，包括導賞團，互動和教育節目等供有興趣人士參加。

As part of the exhibition, there are also two films about the marginal communities will be shown: one about the homeless, the other about a cleaning lady Mrs. Chan. There will also be supplementary activities including guided tour, interactive and educational programmes organized during the exhibition period.
