香水單純從調性來分

可以分為三類

Aftershave Lotion：須後水

是專屬於男性的香水，顧名思義，刮過鬍子之後使用的，香味一會兒就會散去。

Eau Fraiche：淡香水

香氣清爽，上班或日常使用皆適宜。

Eau De Cologne（EDC）/Body spray：古龍水或香體噴霧

男性香水多半屬於此等級，有使人煥然一新的感受，適合男生運動前後使用。

Eau De Toilette：香露（EDT）

它的氣味比較淡，toilette在法語中有梳洗的意思。因為這種香水很淡，一般早晨起床梳妝洗澡後用的。

Eau De Parfum：濃香水（EDP）

濃度接近香精，但價格較為便宜，適合白天的宴會或外出工作使用。

Parfum：香精

這種香水濃度最高，維持時間很長，因此價格也比較貴。適合正規社交場合，比如夜晚宴會或參加party時使用。
