I got into the NBA around 2006 and I feel like it"s grown massively since then. Why does it feel like the NBA peaked 20 years ago?

I feel like basketball is the perfect sport for internet people. The pace isn』t too slow or too fast like hockey. You have recognizable celebrities and merchandise you can use everyday. In the Jordan era the NBA was stupidly popular. I believe the 98 finals remains the only finals to outdraw the World Series.

I was a hardcore baseball fan all through the 80s and after the strike (or was it a lockout?) I was just done for good. Never really got back into it. It"s amazing how much damage one bad labor dispute can do.

In 1994 the MLB owners and players union faced a disagreement over the implementation of a salary cap and other financial issues on how to pay the players.

Long story short, the cba expired and the season was canceled in August of 1994. The first time in over 80 years the MLB did not play a world series. The strike directly ruined the Montreal expos forever and led to them being relocated in 2005.

1994年，美職棒的老闆們和球員工會就是否設立工資帽產生了分歧，分歧還包括其他涉及到球員收入的問題。

這個收視率的紀錄是從04年開始的話，這中間我還記得的重要場次包括：
