永遠把英語當知識學，難學好：Walk the walk
從初中開始，你就一直用中文把英語當「知識」來學。永遠用中文把英語當「知識」來學，而不是當「英語能力」來訓練，很難學好：walk the walk
如果一個人「學」英語的「本能反應」是：見到英語不管三七二十一就先「來段中文」，把英語「翻譯」成中文「理解」，也就是永遠都是用中文把英語當「知識」來學，你會發現他很難真正把英語變成語言能力。
比如，第一次見到英語walk the walk，我「也不知道它是什麼意思(中文也罷，英語也罷)」。但是，我的第一反應絕對不像你那樣，上來就是就是中文：走一走。
「望文生義」現象指的絕不僅僅是中國人讀中文時才有，但絕對是學習語言的「大忌」。
我是「什麼反應」？
這是我的「反應」 in English：
1. What does it mean when you say walk the walk?
2. 然後，我會「藉助工具解決我的問題」：「不厭其煩」查查英英字典(不是英漢字典喲)

When you talk the talk and walk the walk,that means you back up your words/what you say with equivalent actions. You do ,or carry out what you say.
For example：Anybody can run their mouth like that, but can you talk the talk and walk the walk?
4.你開始「說」英語：
4a. I see. Walk the walk is an English idiom.The complete expression is：Talk the talk and walk the walk.
4b. Okay.Got it.Talk the talk and walk the walk,short for walk the walk, means：
You not only say something,but yoy will also carry out what you say,or carry out what you promise.
You are not paying lip service only.
能把walk the walk和pay lip service(玩嘴上功夫，敷衍了事)融會貫通比直接用中文理解walk the walk更讓你的英語受益。
這就是「把英語當做能力訓練」(把英語「翻譯」成英語的能力)，而不是用中文把英語當做「知識」來學。
沒有語言能力而光會學知識，知識一輩子「學不完」，能力卻一點沒進步。
光學「知識」又不願(懶得)，或不能做到勤查英英字典，光靠「老師」告訴你「知識」的「學法」，結果更慘！
你為什麼不「頑強」地訓練自己用這些英語來「理解記憶」walk the walk，而只能用中文作為「理解語言」呢？
