Sanofi invests RMB500 million for Global R&D Operations Hub in Chengdu

賽諾菲公司宣布，在成都市設立「賽諾菲中國中西部運營與創新中心」。

Sanofi announced the establishment of its Operation & Innovation Center of Midwest China in Chengdu.

作為創新中心的一大亮點，其全球研發運營中心也同步落戶成都高新技術產業開發區，並致力於研發數字化探索和大數據分析。

As a major component of facility, Sanofi Global R&D Operations Hub will also be launched in Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone with a specialized focus on digitalization and big data analysis.

新成立的全球研發運營中心投資5億元人民幣，並與現有中國研發團隊整合，使中國成為繼法國和美國之後，全球臨床開發及運營的第三大支柱。

With an investment of RMB500 million, the new R&D Operations Hub confirms China as the third pillar of Sanofi Global Clinical Sciences and Operations, joining facilities in France and the United States.

該研發運營中心將涵蓋糖尿病與心血管、疫苗、腫瘤學、免疫學與炎症、罕見疾病、多發性硬化症、神經病學等諸多疾病領域，

The Hub will target diseases that affect millions of people across our therapeutic areas: diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, vaccines, oncology, immunology and inflammation, rare diseases, multiple sclerosis and neurology.

參與並支持賽諾菲全球藥物研發，致力於全球多中心臨床試驗文件和數據的管理。

It will participate in and support Sanofi"s global pharmaceutical research and development.

中心將整合全球數據採集和分析能力，加快整個臨床一期至四期試驗的流程。

The Hub plans to recruit 300 local pharmaceutical research and development professionals by 2020.

此外，賽諾菲將充分利用中國本土人才在創新方面的優勢，進一步加強在研發數字化領域的探索。

The Hub will take advantage of innovative local talents to further strengthen Sanofi』s digital capabilities.

J.P. Morgan China Becomes a Bond Connect Market Maker

摩根大通銀行（中國）有限公司宣布，在「債券通」開通一周年之際，該行已正式獲得債券通做市商資格並順利完成該行的首筆交易。

JPMorgan Chase Bank (China) Co., Ltd.announced that it has been selected as an official Bond Connect market maker and has successfully completed the firm』s first deal, on the one year anniversary of the launch of the Bond Connect program.

摩根大通中國將作為報價機構之一來服務內地與香港債券市場互聯互通機制下的「北向通」業務。

As a Bond Connect market maker, J.P. Morgan China acts as one of the price providers to serve the Northbound Link leg of the connection between the mainland bond market and Hong Kong and the overseas investors.

摩根大通中國區首席執行官梁治文表示：「『債券通』是中國金融市場開放的一個里程碑。摩根大通非常高興成為『債券通』做市商，幫助中國更好地吸引海外投資者參與到中國銀行間債券市場中來。」

Mark Leung, CEO of J.P. Morgan China said, 「The Bond Connect program is a milestone for China』s financial market opening. J.P. Morgan China is pleased to become one of the Bond Connect market makers, which enables us to better support China』s efforts to attract more international investors to China』s Interbank Bond Market (CIBM).

前不久,摩根大通宣布已向中國證券監督管理委員會遞交申請，尋求建立一家持股比例為51%的全新證券公司，並計劃在未來數年內監管允許的條件下將持股比例增加到100%。

J.P. Morgan recently announced its application for establishing a new, fully-integrated securities company in which it would hold a 51% stake, increasing to 100% as allowed by regulations over the next few years as well as its desire and intent to increase its current joint venture stake in China International Fund.

OPEC Derails Its Grip on Oil Prices

據《金融時報》報道，有分析師和交易員去年曾猜測，由於美國大量開採頁岩油，歐佩克將無力提振低迷的原油市場。

According to the Financial Times, last year, analysts and traders speculated that the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries could do little to lift depressed crude markets with U.S. shale pumping away.

產量增加的前景未能抑制油價最近的漲勢。自歐佩克近日開會並達成增產協議以來，油價已上漲11%。上周三，美國原油期貨升至2014年11月以來最高水平，結算價報每桶72.76美元。

Oil』s recent rally has been undeterred by the prospect of higher production. Prices have gained 11% since OPEC gathered recently and agreed to raise output. On Last Wednesday, U.S. oil futures rose to their highest level since November 2014, settling at $72.76 a barrel.

導致市場情緒轉變的原因是委內瑞拉原油產量的下降，以及對於美國對伊朗實施比預期更嚴厲制裁可能抑制該國石油出口並加劇供應受阻情況的擔憂。

The shift in sentiment stems from a drop-off in Venezuelan production and concerns that harsher-than-anticipated U.S. sanctions on Iran could curb the country』s oil exports and exacerbate supply disruptions.

哥倫比亞大學全球能源政策中心主任Jason Bordoff稱，如果美國政府像他們在公開言論中暗示的那樣對伊朗石油出口採取強硬措施，將導致成品油價格上漲，即便歐佩克及其他國家全力增產也無濟於事。

「If the administration is going to take as hard a line on Iranian exports as their statements would suggest, consumers are going to pay higher prices at the pump, even if OPEC and other countries produce as much as they can,」 said Jason Bordoff, director of Columbia University』s Center on Global Energy Policy.

隨著油價的飆升，歐佩克已經面臨增加供應的壓力，但分析師稱，沙特和俄羅斯等主要產油國可能無法填補其他石油出口國所留下供應缺口。

OPEC has faced pressure to increase supply as oil prices have soared, but analysts say major producers like Saudi Arabia and Russia may not be able to fill the gap left by other exporters.

Honeywell Educators at Space Academy Kicked off

由霍尼韋爾選拔、來自全球35個國家和地區的224位中學理工科教師齊聚位於阿拉巴馬州亨茨維爾的美國太空火箭中心（USSRC），參加一年一度的「霍尼韋爾太空學院教師培訓計劃」，其中包括六名中國老師。

Honeywell has selected 224 teachers from 35 countries, regions and 45 U.S. states and territories to attend the annual Honeywell Educators at Space Academy (HESA) program at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center (USSRC) in Huntsville, Ala. 6 Chinese teachers participated in this year』s program.

該項目包含45個小時的課堂和實驗室指導，以科學、太空探索和領導力技能開發為重點。

While at Space Camp, teachers attend 45 hours of immersive classroom and laboratory instruction focused on science, space exploration, and leadership skills development.

除了有機會學習包括編碼挑戰在內的新教學知識，老師們還能與世界其他國家和地區的同仁建立聯繫，以便進一步開展合作及共同發展STEM教學目標。

In addition to learning new instructional exercises, including coding challenges, the teachers will build a network of peers from around the world to continue collaborating and developing their STEM education goals.

自從2004年創辦以來，已有來自全球的3,000餘名教師參與了HESA項目，其中包括48名中國教師，惠及全球超過500萬名學生。

Since its creation in 2004 , more than 3,000 teachers have attended the HESA program and have cumulatively gone on to impact more than 5 million students around the world.

美國太空火箭中心是太空營和飛行營的舉辦地，阿波羅16號登月艙、國家歷史地標土星五號運載火箭也坐落於此，還是各種世界級巡迴展的舉辦地。

The U.S. Space & Rocket Centeris home to Space Camp and Aviation Challenge, the Apollo 16 capsule, the National Historic Landmark Saturn V rocket, and world-class traveling exhibits.
