湖北觀鳥記04 黑鳶

本篇我要給大家講一種非常威風的鳥！它們經常會在天空盤旋、懸停、和俯衝，你大概能猜到它是屬於哪一種鳥了吧……對啦，就是老鷹，也可以叫它們猛禽（很兇猛的禽）。要是我再告訴你它是一種體型中等、飛翔時翅膀下面有一塊明顯白斑、尾巴較長有叉狀的老鷹，飛行緩慢沉重，你能猜出它是哪一種猛禽嗎？當然是黑鳶啦！

知道我是怎麼發現它的嗎？是這樣的，我當時拿著望遠鏡四處張望。突然我在一片玉米地的圍欄上看見了一個龐然大物，這種體型必定是猛禽啊，仔細一看，原來是黑鳶啊！神奇的是它的身旁還停著一隻喜鵲，一隻大一隻小，一隻猛禽一隻林鳥，卻和平共處相安無事。緊接著，它張開翅膀，飛向另一個木樁。

我再往那個木樁一看，居然還有一隻黑鳶！奇怪的事發生了，那隻飛翔的黑鳶還沒落到木樁上另外一隻就扇動著翅膀飛走了，我猜這也許是出於害怕對方的原因，也有可能是友誼的原因吧（主動讓個位置）。

在停車場休息時，我們在天空又看到了一隻黑鳶。但這一回，它好像在追它的「獵物」。

我還一直興奮的喊：「快抓到了，快抓到了！」但讓我好奇的是，好多次黑鳶離它的「獵物」那麼近，怎麼就抓不到呢？再多觀察一會就找到了答案，它肯定是不會抓那隻「獵物」的，因為那隻「獵物」也是猛禽的一種，赤腹鷹，只是體型小了點兒。我頓時感到有點尷尬，剛剛還錯把赤腹鷹當成了「獵物」。

它們一起在空中飛翔，變化著各種姿勢和方向，展示出猛禽才有的力量，一下子衝上很高的天空，接著又快速地下降，黑鳶伸展開它那雙寬大有力的翅膀盤旋翱翔，赤腹鷹也跟著伸展，好像在參加選美比賽一樣，畫面非常和諧。

我一直以為黑鳶以老鼠、青蛙、兔子之類的動物為食，但在河岸拍藍喉蜂虎時，卻親眼看見一隻黑鳶俯衝直下，用它那雙利爪從河裡捕捉起了一條大魚。猛禽的眼睛可真亮啊，要是我的眼睛也像你一樣明亮就太好了。黑鳶，你可真夠帥的！

This time, the bird today is…a eagle! Sounds scary already? That』s only the beginning! The eagle have a middle-sized body and a piece of white under it』s wings. Can you guess which kind of eagle it is? If you can』t, then I"ll tell you more. It flies slowly and it』s size is about 55cm. Now, you can tell it』s the Black Kite!

Do you know how I saw it? I was scanning the entire grassland when I saw a massive brown thing standing on a fence. I looked closer…it』s a Black Kite! Oh my gosh, a Black Kite with such massive body? I can』t believe it! Hey, look! There"s a Magpie standing beside the Black Kite, the Magpie must be very brave! Suddenly the Black Kite opened it"s wings and flew up the sky! It』s wings must be super powerful since they can lift the whole heavy body to the sky! It flew to a telegraph pole where another Black Kite stood. When the Black Kite nearly landed on the telegraph pole, the one standing on the telegraph pole flew away. I wonder if that"s because of friendship or scariness.

At the parking lot, we saw another Black Kite. But this time it"s flying with another bird, like catching 「prey」. That time I was shouting 「Keep on chasing, nearly got it!」 But the truth was that the 「prey」 isn"t a prey. It』s a Chinese Sparrowhawk! They"re flying the same way and the same directions, I bet they"re friends!

I always think that Black Kites eat mice, frog, rabbit… But this time I saw a Black Kite catching a fish in the river by my very own eyes! The eyes of the eagles are very sharp. I hope my eyes can be the same as the eagle』s! Black Kite, you are COOL!
