《V字仇殺隊》是一部很有想法的電影，但由於主題有關比較敏感的話題，所以備受爭議。受爭議的東西無非就兩種，觀眾喜歡或令人厭惡的。當我看完影片的時候，覺得如果你是以為喜愛暴力美學的人，必然不能錯過它。
影片的開端是以一段「火藥陰謀」事件作為開始，V戴著面具出場。雖然面具時時刻刻都是微笑著的表情，甚至就跟小丑一般讓人發笑，但是它卻讓人感到不寒而慄的驚悚。說明了，面具後面其實代表的是思想，而思想是永遠不會死的。
