方丈微語

僧青年要「以法為師」、「以戒為師」，以古德先賢為榜樣，為佛教教育傳承學風道統而虛懷若谷、嚴於律己；為佛教昌隆、眾生的慧命，實現中華民族的偉大復興而發菩提心；常懷感恩之心，飲水思源，知恩報恩；常懷慈悲之心，悲智雙運，善心善行；常懷敬畏之心，謙卑謹慎，博文約禮；常懷純真之心，堅定信仰，不流於俗。

The Words of Abbot

Remaining steadfast in belief and never flowing with the vulgar

Young monks should "take the Dharma as a teacher", "take the precept as a teacher", take those sages with great virtues in ancient times as a role model, and be modest and self-disciplined in inheriting the style of study for Buddhist education; develop the bodhicitta (awakening mind) for the prosperity of Buddhism, the wisdom of all living beings and the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Moreover, they should always be thankful, drink water, remember past kindness, know the kindness and repay the kindness; always have compassion, apply compassion and wisdom for the benefit of all sentient beings, be benevolent and do good; always hold in awe veneration, be modest and prudent, expand knowledge and follow ceremonies; always have a pure heart, remain steadfast in belief and never flow with the vulgar.
