@管鑫Sam :她的名字叫做Gladys Aylward，1936年加入民國國籍。1938年自己帶著傷護送百名孤兒翻山躲避日軍到安全的地方。二戰爆發之後回到英國，戰火過後再想回到中國的時候，被新中國拒了，隨後去了香港，1958年定居台灣，在那裡建立了以她命名的孤兒院，1970年去世。

Gladys May Aylward(24 February 1902 – 3 January 1970) was a British evangelical Christian missionary to China, whose story was told in the bookThe Small Woman, by Alan Burgess, published in 1957, and made into the filmThe Inn of the Sixth Happiness, starring Ingrid Bergman, in 1958. The film was produced by Twentieth Century Fox, and filmed entirely in North Wales and England.[1]
