「里和外，中心與邊緣」是復旦-科廷中澳創意寫作中心（China Australia WritingCenter）第四屆（2018）國際年會的主題。該中心於2015年由位於澳洲珀斯的科廷大學和位於上海的復旦大學共同創立，四年來在珀斯和上海兩地已舉辦三次國際創意寫作年會。今年第四屆年會將於11月4-7日在上海復旦召開。

上海是一個令人振奮、充滿活力的國際大都市，為來自世界各地的旅行者所青睞。這個被稱作「魔都」之城，也充滿了來自內與外的思想碰撞，出現了發自中心和邊緣的各種聲音。它們都釋放著各自的能量，閃耀著不同的光芒。澳洲西海岸的珀斯，是西澳最大的城市。作為一個在地理上處於邊緣，卻扮演著政治、文化中心的城市，珀斯最好地詮釋了生存於夾縫中展現的複雜性與活力。在文字中，處於邊緣不一定意味著孤獨，而位居中心也絕不等同於主流。從內擴向外，抑或從外流入內，馨香反倒愈來愈烈。

第四屆中澳創意寫作年會（CAWC 4th International Symposium）本周末即將拉開帷幕，我們請到了來自世界各地的A.J.卡拉瑟斯、阿米莉亞·戴爾、安妮·萊登、包慧怡、凱西·林奇、顧愛玲、海岸、姜林靜、約瑟芬·威爾遜、柯夏智、露西· 杜根、邁克·基恩、邁克·法雷爾、摩西·耶胡達·博斯坦因、保羅·克里福德、瑞秋·羅伯特森、馬非、談瀛洲、向丁丁、肖水、趙四等20餘位優秀作家、翻譯家、學者，參與這場旨在消弭疆界的文學盛宴，也歡迎熱愛文學的你加入我們：

The Throne

In crisis

I go to the local library

and do not take out

the book I find,

this one or that one first,

what matter?

Outside beside my car

sits a strange chrome and vinyl seat,

part of a vanity set,

stranded, hieratic, ruined,

like the beautiful straight-backed

low seated chair-people

of Saint Martin d』Ardèche.

I do the visual maths.

Will it fit behind?

—no, there, rightfully, is the seat for our grandson—

I consign its odd allure to my phone』s photo bank instead.

I sit on it only once,

open its cream frayed seat

with its tooled insignia of promise

—nothing—

What does it mean

for home to be a failure?

What does it mean

for other places to be a failure?

I leave the throne to its ownmise en scène, neither

desolate nor replete

were I to claim it.

There is, after all, no mirror

in front of which to place it

though I fix my hair and do my lips

before I reverse away.

寶 座

危機到來的日子

我去社區圖書館

不借那本

找到的書，

「先借這本還是那本，

又有什麼關係？」

外面我的車旁

靠著一個奇怪的鉻合金塑料凳，

梳妝台的配件，

孤零零，抽象，破爛，

像聖馬丹達爾代克里

那些精緻的直身

低坐的人們，

我做著視覺演算。

能放后座嗎？

——不行，那兒，明擺著，是孫子的座位——

於是我用手機圖片庫收藏了它奇怪的美感。

我只坐過一起，

打開它奶油色裝飾著

一個承諾的紋章的起毛邊的座墊

——什麼都沒有——

一個失敗了的家

代表什麼？

那些失敗的別處

代表什麼？

我把這寶座留在它自己的

場景里，我對它

可有

可無。

我家，畢竟，沒有

將它放於前的妝鏡

但我還是梳好頭髮塗好唇膏

在倒車離開前。

露西?杜根（Lucy Dougan，1966- ），澳大利亞詩人，在多國出版多部詩集，包括《記憶之殼》、《白泥》、《遊離者》、《守護神》等。曾獲澳洲瑪麗·吉爾摩詩歌獎、亞力克·博爾頓詩歌獎、西澳州長獎等多項國際詩歌獎項，並與蒂姆·杜林共同主編了《菲·茨維琪詩選》（2017）。現任職於位於西澳大利亞珀斯的科廷大學，出任科廷大學中澳創意寫作中心（CAWC）主任。

Lucy Dougan is a widely published and prize-winning poet. Her books include Memory Shell (5 Islands Press),White Clay(Giramondo),Meanderthals (Web del Sol) andThe Guardians (Giramondo)which won the Western Australian Premier』s Book Award for poetry. With Tim Dolin, she is co-editor ofThe Collected Poems of Fay Zwicky(UWAP, 2017). She works for the China Australia Writing Centre at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia.

At Villa Bruno

the presiding nymph

has black texta circles

around all her bits.

She watches us

with her nipples, her navel,

as we trail on opposite sides

of the long garden bed,

swapping names:

my bay for your lauro,

your arancia for my orange,

until our paths meet.

We fall into the spaciousness

of another century.

We might have trailing skirts, masks.

I take the crushed leaves, the proffered fruit,

and feel the blind nymph』s

cool bemusement

as we step outside all drawn rings.

Nothing before

has tasted so close

to its wild estate.

Iris FAN Xing is a poet and translator. She holds an MA in English Studies from the University of Macau. Currently a PhD candidate at the University of Western Australia, Fan has published two bilingual poetry collections, Lost in the Afternoon(2009) andSouth of Words(2018).
