BMC家族新成員

2018年11月末，BMC期刊又迎來新成員：Acta Epilepsia。

該刊將發表癲癇的基礎與臨床研究，致力於推動對癲癇發生機制的了解與癲癇治療方法的發展。

Acta Epilepsia是由四川大學主辦的開放獲取期刊，是中國抗癲癇協會會刊，與BMC合作出版，官方網站和投審稿系統現已正式開放。

Acta Epilepsia由四川大學華西醫院神經內科主任周東教授擔任主編，與來自全球16個國家的57位行內知名專家一同組成專業編委會，力爭將Acta Epilepsia打造成一個專業、高效的癲癇學科相關研究與臨床應用的最新發展的交流平台。Acta Epilepsia是一本國際性的同行評審開放獲取期刊，旨在及時、準確、全面地報道國內外癲癇研究領域工作者在防病治病、科學研究、教學等工作中取得的經驗、科研成果、技術革新、學術動態等，報道國內外癲癇研究的重大研究成果和進展。

Acta Epilepsia是開放獲取期刊，目前所有稿件處理費用（APC）將由四川大學華西醫院資助，作者無需支付任何費用。

主編 周東教授

周東教授從事神經內科治療30餘年，尤其專註於癲癇病的研究和治療。目前擔任國際抗癲癇聯盟（ILAE）內科治療委員會聯合主席、中國抗癲癇協會（CAAE）副會長，主持並參與了多項國家自然科學基金研究項目，發表SCI論文150餘篇。
