Casting Off This shore to Reach Other Shore

貪執身邊有限的眾生，

不可能利益輪迴中無量的眾生；

留戀世間有漏的福報，

不可能得到極樂世界無漏的福報。

It is impossible for those who cling to the limited beings around them to benefit the limitless beings in the samsara; it is impossible for those who are nostalgic to the imperfect fortune in the world to get the stainless merit in the Pure Land.
