Quentin Tarantino 電影《The Hateful Eight》於 Netflix 推出加長版迷你影集

喜歡知名大導 Quentin Tarantino的影迷應該都在關注由兩大巨星Brad Pitt與Leonardo DiCaprio共同主演的話題新作《Once Upon a Time in Hollywood》（好萊塢殺人事件）的相關新聞，不料卻有網民發現知名串流平台 Netflix 上的《The Hateful Eight》（八惡人）竟存有兩種版本？！

根據 Quentin Tarantino 本人表示，Netflix 來詢問他是否存有多餘的畫面，如果有的話是否有興趣剪成 3 到 4 集的迷你影集。而他聽完後覺得這項提議真的非常吸引人，因為《The Hateful Eight》是以一部電影的方式呈現，他如有機會使用所有拍攝的畫面，並且透過迷你影集的方式呈現，他是會想試試的。

因此，Quentin Tarantino 與編劇 Fred Raskin 一同再拍攝了近 25 分鐘的畫面，並將其重新編製，打造一集 50 分鐘的迷你劇，透過章節式的形式做呈現，Quentin 坦承與電影相比，它的確擁有一種不同的感覺。

「So Netflix came to us and said, 『Hey, look, if you』d be interested…If there』s even more footage, if you』d be interested in putting it together and in a way that we could show it as three or four episodes, depending on how much extra footage you have, we』d be willing to do that.』 And I thought, wow, that』s really intriguing. I mean, the movie exists as a movie, but if I were to use all the footage we shot, and see if I could put it together in episode form, I was game to give that a shot, give that a try.」
