答：學術與信仰並不矛盾，從佛教的整個思想來講，學術規範應該是成就解脫道的一個方便的方法。我們要行菩薩道，要度化眾生，更要肩負起振興中國大乘佛教的使命，既要有高深的佛學修養，也要會世間的方法和學問，大家在學修方面一定要提高對自我的要求，這樣才能贏得尊重，才能夠真正成為人天師表，佛教才能更好的弘揚和發展。

A: There is no contradiction betweenacademic researchand belief. From the perspective of Buddhism as a whole, academic norms shouldbe anexpedientmeansto achieve liberation. We must practice the Bodhisattva path, transform all sentient beings, and shoulder the mission ofrevitalizing Chinese Mahayana Buddhism. Thus, we must have profound Buddhistcultivation, as well as worldly methods and knowledge. We must enhance ourrequirements for ourselves in studyand practice.Only in this way can we earnrespect, truly become a teacher of Humans and Heavenly Beings, and can Buddhismbe better promoted and developed.
